Nvidia or Radeon? Amd or Intel? I think intel is dominating the current market if you are looking for "high end" gaming. Also i think nvidia is the current front runner because of they're drivers and support. Here you have a few benchmarks: www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html CPU benchmarks www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html Graphics Cards benchmarks

I am also a fan of intel. I have been using my intel core 2 duo e4600 on 2.4ghz (slightly overclocked to 2.8) for more than 4 years with its stock cooler. It performs great and it never had any problems, so on my next upgrade which i plan to do in a few months, I am going for the new intel ivybridges cpu's. As for the video card, I am really happy with my ati hd 5770, even though nvidia has better drivers and support. On my next viideo card upgrade I am thinking of moving back to the nvidia family again.

i mean 3820 is on the LGA 2011 but the 3770k is on the 1155 socket but does better in benchmars

Personally I am going for the intel core i5 3570K ivybridge. I am not interested in i7 because for what I do, the hyperthreading won't be worth the money. I just need the great architecture of the new processors and a high clock speed. If you on the other hand are interested into using heavy applications that take good use of the hyperthreading feature, then an i7 would certainly worth the extra money! As far as gaming goes, hyperthreading is not really helping that much as far as I know (always talking about value-money). Be sure to check some benchmarks first though cause I might be wrong.

Nvidia is indeed great, but it costs more than Radeon for same features. So, I will go with ATI Radeon and get more powerful Graphics Card at low range. And in between Amd and Intel. I will go for Intel because it is more reputed. Have a nice day.
