A while ago we wanted to experiment. We were hungry enough so we would probably eat any kind of pizza that we would be given. So we thought to try a really hot version of pizza. We found a local pizza restaurant that was making a particular one, called vesuvius. As the name suggests, it was really hot. With a lot of pepperonis, chilli and some hot tabasco sauce touch. Thing is we really liked it and in fact we ordered that specific pizza a couple of more times since then. Have you ever tried anything similar? Or are you thinking to try? :)

Hi coldnplae, that vesuvius pizza sounds really intersting. I am not big on spicy food, but when it comes to pizza, I would rather have it spicy for some reason. I cannot recall of there are local pizza parlor here on our place which serves really spicy pizza that can be compared to vesuvius but my friends and I tried making our own pizza with lots of chilli pepper on it. I love how spicy it was and I am thinking of making it again soon.

hey there, yes it certainly is a special kind of pizza. It's nice you decided to do something similar on your own. It surely is a lot more healthier as well.

So far i haven't found pizza that is hot enough to burn my tongue or reduce my craving of pizza. I don't know if i haven't found it because it is not available near me or i am the one immune to hot and spicy food.

I can tolerate hot and spicy food pretty much myself. This pizza isn't the hottest kind of food i've tried. It didn't gave me too much burning to handle, however it was certainly a very interesting twist from the usual types of pizzas. :)

Well I couldn't try it because I am lactose intolerant, and don't really like spicy things :) However, one of my family members does and I will definately mention this type of pizza next time they order.

I believe lactose intolerant people are missing some of the greatest foods! Isn't it possible for you to try a version of pizza without cheese? Even though its taste will be altered to much from an original pizza with lots of melting cheese. I have tried pizza with soy cheese a few times and I have to say it was pretty good, although not close at all with the real stuff.

haha. It kinda depends on your taste. If you love pizza and spicy things I don't see a reason you wouldn't like it. If you don't go so good with hot peppers, prepare for some major discomfort:P
