Would you ever try bungee jumping?

Whenever I saw someone trying out bungee jumping on tv, I just can't help but ask myself, "if I am given a chance to do it, would I ever try bungee jumping?" Can I really jump in a very high place while tied with a rope on my logs and jump head first? Oh my, I don't know! For me, I think I will not be able to do it because I still have fear of very high places...not fear of heights but too much height. Anyway, how about you? Would you try bungee jumping if given the opportunity?

I watched a video on Youtube where a girl went bungy jumping. She was very scared and it very hard for her to pluck up the courage to jump. That video made me think about my own reaction if I was in her situation. I would like to try bungy jumping, but I can easily imagine how scary it is to stand there just before you jump I am not afraid of heights, but I still think that it would be a big challenge to try it. On the other hand I am curious and I would like to experience it in person. I might try it once and decided that I never wanted to do it again, or maybe I really like it and want to try it again. The first time is always special because you don't know what to expect and it is a totally new experience.

For adventurous guys like you, it would be a challenging experience but I guess a great percentage of people won't even consider it...I included. I have tried being in roller coasters that are high and turns around and I was not that scared because I closed my eyes when my head was hanging while the roller coaster made a complete 360 degree turn. It was not as scary as I thought. Maybe it would be the same with bungy jumping...maybe or maybe not :D

When you hear bungee jumping first thing comes to mind what if I hit the ground?? I would most defiantly go bungee jumping just to feel the drilling rush as i'm going over the cliff or out of a plane... I really never seen anybody bungee jump out of a plane but I know it could be done. A lot of dare devils are into such things as bungee jumping and jumping out of airplanes as well.

It's the first time I heard about bungee jumping out of the airplane. I wonder how they calculate the height in such a way that the one jumping won't heat the ground. I can only imagine that would be a lot scarier. I wonder, if someone who bungee jumps gets the feeling of that adrenalin rush do they keep looking for more and more of those rush like an addiction?

Yes I would love to try it. My daughter and son did it two different times they loved it. My daughter and I were in San Diego and she bungee jumped there and she said it was so much fun. I watched her do it and took pictures. My daughter also got a video of it.but it cost her to buy it.

What a brave family you are, I envy you. I guess I can do something similar to bungee jumping like the one where there is a long rope from one mountain to the other and you are wearing a costume that could slide through the ropes, giving you the impression of flying...maybe I can do this because it looks less scary than bungee jumping...maybe but maybe not. I'm not sure until I get there.

Definitely not! LOL. I don't even look down the window on the third floor because my knees would get weak and shaking and I wound feel faint. I think I just could not take it.

I understand exactly how you feel..lol. Maybe the fear of heights is the most common type of fear. Anyway, they said that if you face your fears, you will be able to conquer them. Anyway, I felt myu fear of heights has highly diminished through the years, but I still can't imagine myself conquering the fear of heights in bungee jumping, which is an entirely different thing because now you don't only look down on a very high place but you jump from it...noooooo! lol.

I have grown to be a dare devil so I would love to try bungee jumping. I used to see people on TV bungee jumping all the time, I would always say I'm defiantly not trying that oh no. What change my mind was my first tattoo and yes I mean my first tattoo they person who was doing it name was Adam and he was married to his business partner who was also a tattoo artist. Adams wife name is Kristy and they are very good artist they both are on the adventurous side which is how bungee jumping came up. Bungee jumping is Adams favorite thing to do other than tattoos he told me for practice get into a vehicle going over one hundred miles per hour and just stick your head out the window. I instantly thought a drilling rush so I'd rather skip the illegal speeding and just go straight for the real thing. Yet I haven't done it yet but will try it some day.

I guess people who tries these things including other extreme sports are usually daring and adventurous...unless they are forced to do it due to pear pressure or other reasons. I get some rush when I try to ride my motorcycle in a faster speed than usual, but I do try it only a few times in the past when there are no other cars on the road and no speed limit in the area...and always with a helmet.

I would try, but I'm not sure if I would jump... but the falling session is really attracting me... so I may try out, or try to try it :).

I think they say there is this adrenalin rush after doing it. I don't know exactly how that feels, and I guess I would never know until I do something that is as scary as bungee jumping. Anyway, if ever you try it in the future I hope you have a lot of fun and maybe share your experience here :)
