There are a lot of emails we can use nowadays. The few of those I know of are yahoo mail, MSN, and g-mail. I don't know other types of email, but I'm sure there are others besides these three. Anyway, can you mention others not mentioned here and tell us how those emails work? I think many people would say g-mail would be the best mail to use nowadays, would you agree or disagree and why?

I am not an expert in this field to comment which one is the best but for myself, I can say that I always feel comfortable with gmail.

Same here, DoctorDidi. Well, so far my gmail account hasn't been hacked yet...and hopefully not in the future, so I would continue to use gmail but with more caution this time. Anyway, I also use yahoo mail actively but I don't use my msn mail anymore.

You have just mentioned the worst email providers possible! Gmail is the most easily hacked. MSN has the most spam. Yahoo doesn't deliver most mail.

Thanks for these feedback. If this is the case, then if I want the best security for my email...don't use Gmail. If I hate spams, don't use MSN. And if I expect a lot of mails from several friends, don't use Yahoo mail. These are good guidelines on which email are not to be used in a certain way. Can you recommend an email because it can do and perform well in one or more categories?

Best email is that which comes with a web hosting account. Even some free hosting is better than the so-called big boys!

I have a gmail and yahoo mail. They are somehow useful but I do not use them often. I actually use a professional email from my host website since I have website. The good thing about it is that it brings a sense of authenticity and profeesionalism to my communication. I am not saying that yahoo and gmail are not professinal but when you use theml they appear very ordinary. Having a professional email gives me and edge.

I would agree that when it comes to having an online business and presenting them, there is no better way than having a professional email from one's host website. I know because I used to be a member of GDI which is a website hosting and you are allowed to have I think about 10 different email addresses. For example, you could name one of your address as the following, yourpaymentinformation.ws, inquiries.ws, marketingplan.ws and so we can see that our emails becomes more professional as we use the email name according to the function it gives for our sendee.

I love using gmail to send heavy files. My clients don't usually have a problem downloading documents and such when I or they use gmail.
