losing weight!!

HELP!! I need to get motivated to lose some unwanted blob they call fat!! I am about 40 pounds too heavy, I lack energy and motivation to work out! I am not young anymore, I have had a hysterectomy, so my metabolism stinks! My love of food, okay... My love of sweets has got a hold on me and I can not shake it!! I am thinking of just joining a fitness club, me giving them my money will be my motivation, ;D Any ideas or tips would greatly be appreciated!

You're wasting your money on a fitness club membership if you already know you don't like working out. The money you're spending will not be motivating enough. You must have the will to work out! My advice to you would be not to diet! Eat what you want, but only when you're hungry and start by taking daily scheduled walks. If you can achieve consistency in this, then perhaps you'll be ready for that fitness club membership later. Remember, food is not bad, so don't make it bad. Eat what you love in moderation.
