"Why do you put weird stuff in salad?". It's how you would enjoy it~! I find it weird first when my mom put chunks of milk chocolate bars on a creamy fruit salad. There goes the raisins. I find the raisins acceptable at fruit salad (but definitely not with cookies) along with cherries, "buko" (coconut chunks), apples, peaches in cream and evaporated/ condensed milk. When I tried it, I does taste good. That is so cool. Macaroni salads (macaroni noodles in mayonnaise and cheese)has these weird stuff like coleslaw and such. But I find it likeable when they put ham or bacon on it ^_^-) Anything you want to share about those weird stuff you're adding with your salad? Like in your Ceasars or macaroni salads? Share me your unusual salad indulgence. Please and thanks.

I can't think of anything off hand that is too odd. A few weeks ago we added avocado and grilled corn to have something different The only items off the top of my head that I can think of that would be weird to add to a traditional salad would be bananas. I've never done that, but I think it would be weird.

I like my coleslaw with diced apple and raisins Of course it has mayo to begin with. For my green salads (lettuce as the main green) I also add cheese, croutons, olives of any kind and avocado slices. I don“t eat fruit as a salad, but I have it many times as a dessert. Diced fruit for me accepts cream and a bit of chocolate, but I prefer it with just fruit.
