I would want to look different. Like really a big change in looks. A different image that my ex would never recognize me anymore. LOL! I sound so desperate.hehe..but no I just want a big change not only in my life but also in my looks. I am just a very simple girl. No make up.(I do wear make up now.) Never been to hair salon. I just want to put hair color and a tatoo somewhere in my body. But I hope it would never give bad impression to others. Tatoo is not that good here in my country. If someone sees your tattoo, he might think that you are a bad girl. LOL! I hope not. But I want to try it. Just a cute tatoo will do. I am just thinking about it now. ^^

I think both tattoos and coloring your hair are great ways to express yourself. I personally believe that there's nothing wrong with a woman who has a tattoo. If it's fine for a guy to get a tattoo, then why not a girl, right? Before getting a tattoo, you should be aware of its consequences. You won't be able to donate blood and you should go to a reputable or well-known tattoo salon and make sure that they use new, clean needles. Otherwise, you might get an infection. If you're feeling a bit self-conscious about getting a tattoo, especially if you're afraid that you'll be judged by others, why not get one in a not easily seen place? Like on your nape if you have long hair or your lower back. That way, only a few people will be able to see your tattoo and you can hide it if you're feeling self-conscious or shy. Now when it comes to hair color, you don't need to go to a salon to have it done. There are are lot of DIY (do it yourself) kits available in stores. You can try international brands such as L'oreal or Garnier. Or you could look for local brands which I'm sure will be much cheaper. Note that DIY hair coloring doesn't last as long as when you have your hair colored in a salon. And also make sure that when you're applying the hair color to wear old clothing that you're willing to get-stained. This is just a precaution as DIY hair coloring can sometimes get messy and you don't want to stain a brand new shirt. Good luck! Hope you enjoy your new look :)

Change is always constant. You don't need to change your look just your ex would not recognize you. No offense. You just need to feel good with yourself. Feel beautiful. And when you do. Their could be a really big change in you. You may not able to see it. But the people around you might be mesmerize on you. How can I say this to make it simple. Hmmmm. Maybe this way you would understan because we are on same country. The people would just say "blooming ka ata ngayon". And in that way their is a change but you did not do anything. Feel good on yourself my friend.

I support the hair colour idea, but totally reject the tattoo one! They are vulgar, badlooking and dangerous. If they were at least, henna-made or something like that, that last for some time and fades away after some days, well, you can try :D

It's good to have some changes once in awhile, but make sure that you're doing it for your own self fulfillment, and not because someone made you feel bad about yourself. Also, you have to think really hard about that tattoo. If you're going for the permanent one, then there's no turning back. Make up and hair color would be good, and you can always change it or take it off, when you don't want it anymore.

Personally, I do not want to have a tattoo even it was on the hidden part of the body. I cannot see any reason for me to have a tattoo and I would just have a very hard time to decide what design it would be. LOL I could try changing my hair color maybe someday but not the permanent color I think.

Hello tess, No I'm not fond of tattoos and hair colors.I can see some nice colored hair these days.In my place most woman have their hair colors.I like my long black hair and when I think of tattoos I'm sure I can't stand the pain. If a man for tattoo is just fine but for ladies,I'm afraid not. Since you are simple as you said, you can color your hair but not to think of tattoo, especially if you have plan to work oversea. Some country can't accept tattoos especially if you were employed in skilled job.You will surely laser it our and that cost you a dime. Happy mylotting!

I don't like tattoos. Never imagined myself to have one. just a henna for me will go, I guess. But not tattoo. I remember there was a time if I would have a scar, it would be like a tattoo where there are image or something like letters or so. Silly me, I even tried scarring myself... Well, it was just a few tries but not that effective to be an art... About the hair color, I've never tried it before. I guess I would love to try one day... just wonder what color fits me... HOw about you?

Going to the salon to get your hair done, I will say go for it! Nothing beats getting a high after you've come out of a salon for pampering (well, for most girls at least). However, the tattoos... errmmm, I think you need to think a lot about it. Sure you may want them now (especially since you're feeling rebellious after ... you know, with your ex)... but then, would you still want it a year from now, or 5, or 10 years? So, it's a decision that needs to be thoroughly thought about.

I see many gals in here have tattoo. You can have a small one if you really love tattoo. However better you go to buy more nice dresses, go to hair salon to get a new hair style, buy some nice bags and shoes also. Sure you will look so fashion and beautiful. Good luck to you!

I want to have a tattoo too, in memory of someone. And I also want to have my hair colored but that's pretty expensive in my case. Good luck to your self-makeover. Hope after that, you'll be much much more confident with your self.

I'm 23 and I've done all of those things. I'm married, and I'm a mom. I have a small tattoo on my chest of baby feet saying Loved as well as my husband. He has more tattoos then me. I'm a simple girl myself but I like change. I change my hair at least twice a year once in the summer and once in the winter. I've had my hair colored, permed, had high lights done over the years. Right now I have short none mom hair. I've had blond, red, and purple high lights at different times in my life. If you get a tattoo I say put it some were where you can cover it easily for work but also where if your out you can show it off.

Many women who go through divorces often feel the need for a change in order to start all over again fresh. I don't see anything wrong with wanting to do this. I would recommend going to a salon for the hair color. Store bought hair coloring isn't as good. When it comes to getting the tattoo, just be sure it's something you like and is in a location on the body that you can live with.

Getting a tattoo is nice but you might change your mind.. hhehe Just try putting hair colors for now atleast that if you change your mind, you can change the color. :-)
