does netizens search for pets online?

hi mylotters,i have a doubt whether people do search about the pets,what kind of pets they want,which animal they should adopt,also like pet names,do the people around the world use internet to know such kind of information?

I used the internet to look at the shelters near my area to find my pet. Funny thing is though, that when I first looked at the dog I ended up getting from the shelter, it looking Nothing like the actual dog I got! Found out she hates cameras...lol. Best thing to do is just visit the shelters with an idea of what kind of dog you want, and then search from there.
