I was really intrigued by this book when i read about it! It contains a bunch of short stories, 1 from each year (from 1989 - 2008). I thought it would be really fun to see how horror tales progress through the years. And the cover of this book looks really creepy, so that also had me intrigued. I am sorry to say I have so far been very disappointed. I am currently reading the 11th story out of 20. And this is the first story that seems promising. None of the first 10 stories were really scary, and a lot of them I didn't even think were very good. I even skipped one story because I just couldn't get past the first couple pages, I couldn't get into the story. So year 1999 has brought me the first promising story. One that seems like it might actually be a little scary and well written. Hopefully the stories only get better from here. Has anyone read this book? Or plan to? It'd be intereting to get people's different opinions on this. Thanks!

The book sounds interesting, but I'm really not sure if it's going to sold in my country. I like Gothic books... I don't really want to get scared (I mean, I'm not really scared easily), but I love mysterious their athmosphere.
