Tubs and baskets filled with trailer petunias and lobelia

I'm nearly at the end of tubbing up and putting trailers in baskets for this season. I do it every year for the summer, even though I've already got a substantial - and colourful - garden. I fill the patio and the walls full to the brim, so that it's just full of colour. I've managed to grow on perennials in tubs these last few years so that I don't spend a fortune on annuals. I've also started growing plants from seeds - so that saves a few pounds/dollars. Who else goes overboard, spending a fortune on annual plants for their patios and borders? Or do you just rely on your perennials for garden colour?
