Ever faced trouble to start a new discussion ?

I don't start discussions often but i would not say it as trouble! Well, it is upto me.I would start a discussion when i am in fun mood or want opinions or clarify the doubts that i have.MyLot pays us for writing-doesn't mean you get more for discussions than responses.So it's always equally good to respond or to discuss. So why just feel or worry about it? And, i get an idea maybe when i am introduced to something new,say like when i think weird in a situation or like when i have something like a so called doubt no one has asked so far.Those kinds of discussions are already too many right? So why waste time thinking? Respond whatever you know about!--is what i'm doing right now.But,well, i do love starting discussions!

The idea to create a discussion, always comes up, without me having to think long. Because, I made a discussion, based on what I experienced. I also do not push myself, to make the discussion every day. I just enjoy, in MyLot.

Hello wonderboy, Finding a topic is not tough for me, but what prevents me from starting a topic is, I am not getting enough time to spend here. If I start a topic then I have to make sure that I can reply to all people who responded to my topic. I am doing mylot from office so I can spend my leisure time, which is very rare in these day. Yesterday I was free and thought to start a new topic too, unfortunately mylot didn’t worked for the whole day.

Sometimes they come easy and then other times not so much. I like posting discussions but I never so alot at once. I like being very active within them so I want to make sure I have time. I will jot down discussions that come to mind sometimes so I don't forget them but I try to only post one a week if I have several. Take care.

I only start discussions whenever something comes up in my mind. I don't really push myself to make something that I am not really sure what it is all about or I am not certain if that discussion will catch someone's attention. So my answer would be no, I am not facing any trouble staring discussions. If nothing comes up in my mind, no questions to ask, no new experience to share, like really nothing at all, then I don't have to make any. I just respond to posts and take my time here reading discussions. I find some discussions really fun to read so it's still worth my time here. Happy mylotting

sometimes i just have an idea that when i usually will post something i just comment on other discussions until i come up with a thought of my own. I try not to think about it too much, because that just put pressure on you and you will never figure out what you want to say.

I follow what I feel when I'm starting a new discussion, most of the time what happened to me that I can share and talk about. It happens to me also getting hard to think but what I shall I do when I have nothing to think about. Specially when I'm only sitting here in front of my computer. I don't push myself to hard just to have a discussion everyday.

I only start one when I have something in mind or else, I don't bother squeezing my mind to think of any topic. There are times that topic comes easily and there are times that I don't have anything in mind- not interesting subject. So, such cases like this, I prefer to scan friends topic and comment to them.

Whenever i think of something to discuss, i would jot it down on my cellphone or notepad. Then, when i am in the mood for it, i start on it. There are times when i am so in the mood for starting discussions. It seems that for the past weeks, i just don't have the mood for it. I have already jotted down topics but until now, my brain cannot just function well for it.

Sometime i have no idea of topics for 3-4 days or 1 week, but sometimes i have many ideas for it based on my current life. Many problems raise everyday in ordinary life and somehow i haven't known how to solve it then i wanna ask mylotters. I don't force myself should have some new topics a day, I just enjoin mylot only: post my discussions and sharing my problems/thinking with the other mylotters.

I always have a plan to start a new discussion, but I don't always have enough time. Whenever I post a discussion, I want to ensure that I can also respond to all myLotters who commented on my discussion. If I can't, I'm not posting any discussions. I am more comfortable in commenting.

Most of the time I spend it on replying to discussion. I only post or start discussions when something happens to me or when I find/learn something interesting and worth sharing :) Trouble? Hm... Not really because if I don't have any topics to discuss or I don't feel like starting a discussion then I simple don't do it :D When idea struck me, I start a discussion, otherwise, I don't. It's a spur of the moment thing actually. Lolz!

I agree with you it is not easy posting new topics here. myLot being here for I guess more than 5 years, definitely mylotters have posted a lot of discussions already. And the discussions we normally post now here might already been discussed before, except that there may be a little different thing which we add up on the topic. On my first few months here, I try to post something daily or at least every other day. But now I cannot think of any good topic to discuss. Well, I guess it's about time we just discuss something that is happening to us daily.

When I started I was more focused on starting new topics, and finding out what other people thinks about the subject. After a few weeks, that part of my activity here on myLot decreased as I got more active in responding to other discussions. But, whenever there's a good thought that comes up, I can easily put them in to words and post away. Most of it are about things happening in my life and around me.

Yeah, I found it hard to start my first thread. But i started to learn that you can start any thread that you can think of, considering the topic is not being repeated. And even though your topic may be co-related with others, if its not a copy pasted content or if you re frame the subject into a catchier one, your thread remains safe..good luck

I don't have that problem. Most of my discussions are about people who I work with,my friends, my family,my favorite sport teams and sometimes everyday subjects.They come to me out of the blue at times. Sometimes I look at my life and I have discussion! If I didn' come from a dysfunctional family,work with really dysfunctional people and friends like that I wouldn't have many ideas!

yes i am.Its' like what to share/to post but my mind don't think any to post,but only to response sometimes. I feel to not in good mood also when i am in my lot and trying to do things here.
