Why China Keeps Bullying the Philippines?

are you blind? - the difference in distance can say that the island clearly belongs to the philippines.

i keep asking myself why chinese government as saying that they own the scarborough shoal it way too far from their main land while the island is inside the philippine territory. why are they very hard headed, and just turning away their heads on that issue, how can they claim that? they keep claiming that the island is in their history but what matters is that the present time, those islands clearly belong to the philippines. and according to the international laws, those island belong to the 200 km economic zone of the philippines and therefore those islands do belong to the phils.

I think we are being bullied because everyone knows we are not a force to reckon with... China knows about it, America knows about it, We know about it - we just pretend we are capable of fighting with them, but deep inside we are hoping everything is going to be resolved in a diplomatic manner.

I think they should consider diplomatic and business negotiations with China, instead of continously pushing for absolute ownership over the islands. If we get the ownership, I don't think we'd be able to invest on developing the oil supply there, anyway. Perhaps, if China and Philippines get in to a good arrangement on how to make the most of these resources, it could help our economy better.

because our current president is incompetent. Our last few Presidents are not perfect but somehow China didnt mess with them. But in our current administration, China is so confident to attack us because our President is way to busy for his lovelife and dating life. our current president have to many detraction. Then China is so confident to bully us now because we dont have US bases here anymore.
