Reporting

I am also a shy person. And, the only way I could cover that is for me to make sure I know the subject matter very well. If I master what I'm going to report, I get more confident. Always take note, that since this topic was assigned to you, and the rest also have their own topics to prepare for, that only means, you are the only one who knows best in the class - well, except your teacher. But, knowing that you have more information than anyone else, should help boost your confidence, too. Give justice to the time and effort you've invested in preparing for this report, by simply believing in yourself! You can do it!

Realize that everyone is nervous when giving presentations! Usually we're nervous because we feel that we are going to mess up and people will judge us, but in reality, the people were just as nervous giving their presentation. Also, if you're talking about a class presentation, most of the class will probably not be paying attention too closely since they have had to listen to so many presentations already. Just rehearse your presentation several times out loud, and you should be fine.
