Yeah,... its true today at work she buys me a lunch, she is totally changed into another person these two days, I don't know what is wrong with her, normally she would be monitoring me all the time, but these days she just kept quiet at everything I do and I like that. I hope everyday is like that, and no more rainy or sunny days. She is quite good when she is like this and I start to admire her. Phew!....He...he

Looks like this is a change. If you do something good you get a reward. If you don’t do your best you loose something.
Maybe she likes something about your work or does not think making a punishment (hate that word) will help so out to lunch. Likewise, you can treat her the same way. If she is being nice you can return it. If things gets strict you can still be nice back to her like as it is contagious but do less work because she doesn’t get a reward for being strict.

I had sandwiches and coconut bread for lunch, she bought it at the shopping mall below our office floor.

That is something to ponder, I hope she made up her mind, surely she did, she is almost 60 years old I think, maybe its time to adore her. If I meet her at shopping mall that is cool, then we can say hi and chat.

Oh well it is nice to get away from the office sometimes. I never had that kind of bread before, bananna bread yes but never coconut. You never know you boss may quit, get another job someday or get fired and you might see her in that same mall at which time you can buy? We never know how things are going to end up. Life does that!

Well, from what you described in your thread, it would seem that you and your supervisor have good relations. This is very important in the workplace. If she first, would monitor you, and now comes even bring you lunch, it means that she has really put on you full confidence.
Seek ye to keep these good relations. the workplace, as elsewhere, this is important.

Our boss always treat us lunch and snack during her birthday. Then my other whi is always on field work who happen to be not in the office everyday and just visit once in awhile
Then everytime he visited the office he always treat me snack.

If your name and your photo here in your profile are real, anyone who knows you would have known what is in your mind about your job and your superior. It is just like in the Facebook but only not that direct. That is something to ponder ...

It is better if your id is not that obvious if you want to post your private affairs or thoughts that involve other people. For this account, you just do 'normal' and general discussions to reach payout before you get a new account. I don't think you are allowed to change the name you are using for your account.

I am quite glad to know that you had a lunch with your rude supervisor. I things he had came to a drastic change becuase may he realized that you are a good employee to the company. This may be the reason why he came calm to you.

Maybe she realized you're a good employee.
Maybe she only wants to see your performance and after seeing you are doing your best, she decided to give you a treat.
Sometimes big boss looks terror from the start -only to test their employees.

Congrats...but do be alert. I do not wish to pour cold water, but once I had a colleague who was so happy his supervisor bought him a meal, he ended up with several days of overtime.
Hope your supervisor is a nicer person.

I know,...can this kind of attitude last long, I do not wish to work overtime just because of a lunch. I am not calculative just because I have depression, I can't manage 8 hours of working time in a day. Hopefully she is just being kind to me. Nothing more than those overtime.

Wow, that was great. It is good to know that you got a free lunch from someone who used to be so strict to you. Let us hope that it will continue from this day forward so that you wouldn't have to worry about dealing with a strict supervisor. I have experienced that once, and I know how it feels.

Yeah, dealing with a strict supervisor is very hard for me though, I hope she will be kind from today onwards, and let the good atmosphere spread around the office, so everyone will have a good time working too, if I am happy I usually give a smile to my friends, hope she is like that too.
