The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, 2003 version

I just watched the 2003 version of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This one stars Jessica Biel. It is good as horror movies go. It has all the screaming and running and killing that is required for a horror movie. Jessica was beautiful in it with plenty of opportunity to show off her great figure; no nudity at that stage of her career of course.

Oh, was this story based on a real one- I heard he old version was. Was this a remake? I love Jessica Biel, I've never seen her in a slasher film though, i better check this out. Does anyone survive?

It is presented like it was a true story with a start and an ending that are done like a documentary. It appears that one person survives but it is not made absolutely for certain since there is no followup on what happens to the person.
