I admire her

Mother's day may have past but my admiration for this mom continues and will remain in my heart until I too will become one. I dedicate this discussion to one of our fellow lotter here, I will just have to keep here name private for she doesn't know I'm making this for her. Of course, I admire my mother. But, she is just different for me. Never known any single mom before until she came. You see, her son is in the hospital right now and is diagnosed of DHF or dengue hemorrhagic fever. A few hours ago, his son's platelet once again dropped to 70(not sure the metric used for this) and the doctor said if it continues to go down, it will really be too risky already. I wasn't there when the doctor said it, but you could really feel a mom's anxiety and worries for her son when I asked her how he son was doing. Raising a kid is hard especially when you are alone and no husband to take your place when you get tired. She may have her parents and family members with her but a husband's care is just different. I don't really know her that much, but from this incident, i can say she is a very strong person. I admire her because of her positivity and because even if she has problems, we can still see her smile and even laugh at a simple joke. She is just a happy positive person and a very strong one. She is of my age but has already raised a son without a father. I am sure most moms here would feel the same way she does now, especially those single moms here. I am asking you right now, to please help me pray for her son that he may get well pretty soon and that the blood transfusion is no longer be necessary . I just can't take seeing kids being traumatized with all the needles and bags hanging on the IV stand. So I am praying as well for her son's recovery...
