Season Finale...the most boring in the history of Survivor!!!

It was pretty good during. but boy, that was the most boring "final tribal council" EVER!!! THe three women defending themselves as to why the jury should vote for them and the jury..had nothing to say! Tarzan ranted about himself and his wife. Kat used reverse psychology and instead of calling them names etc (like she did when she was on the jury listening and the captions of what she was saying were not very nice..nor the looks she gave)because Kim blindsided and backstabbed her..she tells them why she deserved to win (some surgery) and explains that she didn't tell them cause she didn't want them to feel sorry for her..(like that'd make ANYONE give up a game!)
Alicia just went along with being nice (first time for everything, I guess) and Christina...she goes along with Kim knowing she will be voted off next and just comes to terms with it and goes with it gracefully, and Kim jumps on her at the last tribel saying that Christina didn't fight it at all...didn't try to change my mind or tell me why she should stay. Well duh!! Like that would have changed her mind? She said that Christina would probably get more votes than her, and Christina saw the writting on the palm tree...and still got kicked by Kim..... and still none of them said nothing about how the 3 treated others or their strategy. Even the men voted off first...said nothing about them doing that or being blindsided..nothing was sad derogitorily or "why should I vote for you" or "why shouldn't I vote for the other" etc. It was the most boring final tribal council in the history of the show!!!!
And then when Kim wins....she also wins the $100k from Sprint! WHY WHY WHY???? Does she know someone that works for Sprint? There were so many others that so much more deserved that than Kim. Others that had strategies they used and worked hard around camp and just could be depended on and all that kind of stuff...All Kim did was lie, backstab and blindside everyone and then won a few reward/immunity challenges! Oh yeah....and didn't give anyone the immunity idol she had!!! I hope next fall's is better! I feel like I wasted my time this season!

I knoe in the last few seasons people whine about bitter jury but bitter jury makes good television. Tarzan and Kat's sob stories saved the day.The return of Rite of passage is cool though. Christina should have approached Sabrina and tried to force a tie breaker against Chelsea, I head Sabrina said she might have helped Christina if she asked.... the bright side in Christina's part the people who bullied her got eliminated first.
I think the editors got lazy, cos I watched the insider videos of the finale and those inside videos are more fun. I think KIm won fan favorite cos she is the most dominant female player ever. she is not under the radar... most aggresive females in survivor gets voted off premerge.
I think this cast is not reallt that bad editors just got lazy....cos the insider videos are fun. I think I can do a better job as an editor,

Yeah, could have been that! Maybe they are getting bored with editing! I did notice that the challenges were better this time. Last few they were just repeats of previous seasons...again, so they weren't that "fun" to watch. But they had some pretty good ones this time. That is a part I enjoy watching...just to see what they come up with!
I'm not saying a 'bitter" jury is best..but of course it does provide entertainment! I just thought this jury didn't have anything to say! Nothing! If it wasn't for Kat and Tarzan's sob stories...it'd been "who turned out the lights?" cause nothing was going on..did everyone go home? I just thought they could have at least asked a question just to make the 3 squirm or make them explain or even just give personal opinion. Didn't kat and Tarzan and a few others.. they just said something and didn't ask the finalist anything! Oh well..maybe better next time!

I think cbs needs to hire new editors, younger and more passionate, the editors they have are doing the same thing over and over again for 10 years so they seemed to be bored. They just pick 4 people to have high facetime and ignore the rest of the cast.editors focus too much on the game instead of building characters. also they should stop making the insider videos more entertaining than primetime. It should be the other way around.
In older seasons, even if people are bad in the game , we find them likeable cos they developed the characters.
I know Alicia,Tarzan and Christina's secret alliance failed but editors should have not hidden it TV. it would have kept this season exciting, making the audience believe someone can stop Kim. I think Kim's dominance would have been more entertaining if that secret alliance is not secret on TV.
most contestants say that chelsea is very rude....they should have shown that on TV making her the Russell, then give Kim a likable edit... so Kim beating Chelsea would have been exciting.

They definately could have done better. I to, get tired of them focusing on a few players. I do remember seeing Leif once and saying to myself...oh yeah, forgot about him...cause they never showed him. It is almost like, once the final vote is done, and Jeff walks off set with them...they look at who the winner is and then start editing the tapes to focus mostly on that player! Now that she was the winner...I think back and yeah..there was always Kim personal comment times far more than anyone else!

Oh...but may I just say that this will not be a reason for me to stop watching the show. No sir! I'm still very much a fan. And I personally am very much excited about this next season wherein it will be shot in my country, the Philippines!

Don't get me wrong.. I am a fan and will continue to watch. They are different every season. I just thought this one was so uneventful and odd. Any rumors of when the next one starts this fall?

I heard that they have already finished filming and that the season will start showing on September 19. That's only a month from now! Sooooo excited! It was shot in Camarines Sur, one of the provinces in the Bicol Region, that's Southeast of Manila.

Hell yeah!! I was watching it and mid way i thought, "I think sleeping is a better waste of time". So i slept. Now that i read your post, i'm glad i didn't go through with it.

I was dissapointed. Even the reunion show was better! Jeff had a few things going on there for some good laughs! He hit on Colton and made Colton explain a few things! Pretty funny. And Kim... if I had worked that hard to win a million, I know I sure would have been more demonstrative about it! And it was funny...no votes for Chelsea...but a few for Sabrina. Usually Jeff spends alot of time with the winner at the reunion show, but this time...it was with so many other than the winner. I like hearing from the rest and not just the winner.

I'm a fan of the show, Survivor. Have watched it since the first season. But yes, I agree with you. This season's finale and final tribal council was the most tamed, quiet, uneventful...okay, okay....boring one ever. My husband and I have been trying to think of reasons why it was so. Could it be that this year's castaways are all "mature" and "decent" and "diplomatic"? I don't really know. It's a mystery!

we dont have a bitter Jury and the editors are lazy, the secret scenes footage at cbs,com are very entertaining.they should have used those footages in the finale. This season is still better though than redemption island and south pacific.
Also this year, Jury member got psychological therapy after they got voted off. they should have kept them crazy...LOL
