Stuffiness in armpit?

Hi Mylotters! Maybe you guys have an idea on what this could be. There's a feeling of "stuffiness" on my right armpit when it is in its resting place as in shoulders down, arms relaxed but I feel that there's a "thickening" of skin in the area. When I did a self-breast exam and some palpations in a standing mirror, there's really NO lump present anywhere on my breasts and armpits. My last menstruation was on May 4. Does the "thickening" have something to do with hormones? I experienced it since March this year, just after I started using Philippine lemon (calamansi) as my organic deodorant. It was stingy and painful after weeks of using the fruit in my armpits so I had to alternate on using petroleum jelly while my skin is healing, after it is healed I would switch to using lemon again. Does any of you experience stuffiness in your armpits?
