Daughter is a blessing

Eventhough till date world discriminate on the basis of gender and preference for a male child is still a prevelant notion.but I think daughters are pure joy , they are more caring,more sincere and take note of every little feeling and need of parents irrespective of being near or far.educated class may claim of giving male or female equal status but in real life situation this ideology is not implemented in majority of the cases.what are your viewpoints?

Son or daughter is still one own flesh and blood, it really doesn't matter that much to an intelligent parent or couple, there may be biological differences between a boy and a girl, but these are just minuscule differences and trivial matter for every modern family, except for those backward society and regressive culture that believe that a son is a God-send and a pure joy for the family. My view is that no matter whether my child is a girl or boy, i will give her/him my total love and care unconditionly just like any loving parent will to their children. If majority of the world people choose to behave like a fool and a retard, i want no part of it in term of its gender discrimination, a daughter will be a pure joy to me too.

hello friend,
well yes i do agree with you and i do believe that daughters have some kind of blessings with them.
people in my country still are committing female foeticide and they are not even ashamed of the same.
people have been jailed many times in many cases when they are caught doing this kind of crime. but i do not understand that you love your mom, you love your sister and you care about your wife then why can not you do the same with you daughter.
why can not a daughter have the same right and the love that they deserve from us?
A daughter can be more caring and loving than a son..
