Homosexual VS. the Pacman

Philippines

"Following [U.S. President Barack] Obama's recent announcement of support for marriage equality, Pacquiao quoted Bible excerpts to state that homosexuals should be put to death: If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads," the petition read. What you think myLot, is pacman can be convicted on this or he just got the statement?

Do you remember what Jesus did when the Pharisees brought Him a woman who was caught in adultery? Jesus wrote in the dirt then said, "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone." One by one the Pharisees walked away. Then Jesus said to the woman, "Has no one condemned you?" and He wouldn't condemn her either, but He did tell her to not sin any more. Perhaps Jesus was writing some of the laws that these Pharisees had broken showing them that all of us have done things that displease God. The goal of the church should be to speak the truth in love and leave executing judgement to God.

If it's true that pacman quoted "that" verse, let the man judging him wrongly by quoting it so judge the author of that excerpt who is God Himself. In fact one reason why Sodom and Gomorrah was punished by God was because of homosexuality.

The story was faked. Pacquiao did say that Obama was going against God's wishes, but he never made the quote from the bible. The author added that in. The author even admitted to it. The media went crazy with that. Pacquaio wasn't making a political statement. He was only telling from one Christian to another that Obama was going against Christian teachings. But of course they need propaganda to make the president look great for his subjects. They fight over gay rights, while the economy gets ignored.

At his point in time, I think Manny Pacquiao should know his priorities in life. He cannot go into boxing, politics and preaching all at the same time. Being a big star in his own right does not give him the freedom to hurt people with his own ideas. he has continuously been using the Bible to support his statements. Do you remember his contradiction of the RH Bill which should have benefited a greater majority of the people? It is not wrong to be religious but he should be reminded to respect other beliefs.
