I'm recruiting workers for my company. I have not known why new staffs only to work about some days to weeks. Then, they left! Now, I have explored the reason because old staffs. They do many things which new staffs must be pressured and left. Example: old staffs shouting, disparaging their abilities, teasing them etc... The manager board works in the office. So they can't manage all. Almost new staffs left without any explanation. Now, I have known the reason but I don't know what I can do. Do you any advice or method to solve this problem? Please help!

I like the mentoring suggestion. Make an old staff responsible for training and retaining a new staff. You will set the example by treating the old staff with dignity and respect and show them how it should be done. At a company meeting remind old staff that it is actually easier to hire and retain new staff than to consistently have to hire and train new staff. New staff may not be really good at first, but they have to help. It will look good for them to be tolerant while they are trainin.

This depends on a sense of responsibility of each person. We are so difficult to control.

Better to give a training or seminar for those old workers there on how to be more kind or how they should treat new workers. There should be policy that they should not mistreated any employee whether it was old and new. There should be attitude evaluation and place or database where they can submit complaints about co workers.

Maybe because we have not cared well old employees. Human resource issue is the largest issue in my company now. I like to look for the best method to solve it. I need more new employee. But I can't.

If i feel that the working environment is not friendly i will quit immediately too. We love to work with nice people, feel comfortable to work, not going to the hell for working. You should talk with your old staffs about the current working environment, being friendly with new staffs is necessary. You should indicate one old staff who takes a responsibility to help a new staff knows and adapt with the new working environment. I hope this problem won't happen more. Good luck!

You have known the reason why they quit. The problem is the old staff. If the new staff came in to work would release some work load for them, the new staff should be welcomed and taught well. But if the new staff that came in was a threat to their positions in the company, then they would not be so incline to help the new staff. To appoint an old staff as the mentor for the new guy could be a way out of this problem if they are offered an incentive to keep the staff for, say, 6 months.

Maybe you're right. 6 months is enough time for them understand work and colleagues in new company. Thank you for your advice.

You ahve to be like a real man of the company. Like a Boss. Make some distance with your workers and you will be satisfied for sure.
