Outing with my father's company

I am already in my twenties and the last time I remember joining and outing hosted by my father's company was way back when I was in the third grade. Tomorrow they will be having the annual excursion and my dad decided that everyone in the family will go with them. I am so excited because it feels like my siblings and I were kids again. I've been to a lot of out of town trips but nothing compares to this trip because it brings so much memories.
This afternoon, I accompany my mom to go to the grocery store to buy some food that we will be bringing to the resort tomorrow. I bought a lot of chips and dips because I will allow myself to indulge in my childhood's favorite snacks tomorrow. We are now nearing the rainy season here in our country and I feel that I should make the most of the remaining summer by joining trips like this.

I think it is sensible to take advantage of the remaining summer days. I hope that you will have a wonderful trip and it will bring back many happy memories. It is lovely that you have got some similar snacks to what you had when you were in the third grade.
My dogs birthday is 31st August the last day of the summer. September is the start of the autumn. Even if the weather in August isn't fantastic I enjoy some fun days out. Yesterday I bought my daughter a second hand bike. I am going to get some stabilizers and a fun looking helmet for her. I know she is going to enjoy some bike rides this summer.

Hello maximax, we are already experiencing some rain recently so I really grab opportunities which could give me a chance to enjoy the summer here in our country 
Most of the food that I enjoy when I was a child are still available up to now, luckily. But there are some which needs to be ordered in some specialty stores because they are no longer widely available.
I am sure your daughter would enjoy riding a bike this summer. I enjoyed doing that as well when I was a kid but my mom wouldn't allow me that often because I ride like a boy that I ended up with a lot of scratches on my knees. Those were good times
