Ever wanted to experience seeing a U.F.O.?

Stories about U.F.O. sightings excites me and usually gives me a feeling of awe and a bit of fear. My two brothers claimed they saw a U.F.O. while driving home at night and both of them draw a picture of what they saw and it matched well! For me, I don't know exactly how I would feel if I saw a U.F.O. above my head but I think I would be excited and at the same time a bit scared because I wouldn't know what would happen next. How about you, did you ever want to have this kind of encounter?

I would like to be abducted by a UFO, Then I will ask them to give me superpowers and I will use it for good.....Little they know I will use the powers to rule the world and enslave humanity... Bow down to me Mortals! I am your king!....(Just kidding and joking)

You certainly have desires to rule the world CaptAlbertWhisker. Are you somehow related to Hitler? :D Anyway, what you said reminded me of the movie Superman (Christopher Reeves version) wherein the alien with a beard often said those words... Yes topffer, I guess if humans uses powers like that we will all be gone by now and not survive :D

A happy life is a hidden life : I would certainly not use a superpower to enslave anybody. But after a post like yours, they know that they should not give superpowers to an human : all my hopes are gone.

I want to see a ufo, it is hard to tell if it is a ufo, since it could be anything ordinary, since there airplanes, and other flying stuff around these days. I think i saw a weird circle thing that was flying in circles though, i forgot when that was...it was just going round and round on a path, maybe it was a star, a pretty big one.

I agree. I use to collect youtube videos of them in my computer and it seems difficult to determine which ones are real and which are fake. Concerning UFOs, I think most genuine UFO sitings are those that are taken from a distance. I didn't know that your UFO sighting was so far away distance, but I still feel you may have experienced a UFO because I can't imagine a star going in circles...if they're falling stars they just seem to fall to the ground but not going around in circles as you described. Astronomers, you can correct me if I'm wrong.

It could be a start or it could very easily be a UFO as well. Didn't you felt after the experience that you should have tried to take a closer look and see what it really is? I think it's amazing that some people have the luck to be able to take pictures and videos of these UFOs so they have some proof of their experience. Come to think about it, pictures and videos can be faked easily nowadays, but at least if your sightings were real those pictures or videos you have taken would clearly be real for you...whether they believe it or not.

Yeah, it is very easy to fake videos and pictures which is why it is hard to see real footage of ufos and ghosts- i look for them sometimes, but they seem to be fake. It was so far, and we didn't have a telescope.

I believe in the possibility of anything, so I've always believed UFOs were possible, but I didn't ever look to see one until the first time I did a few years ago. Since the first sighting, I've had five instances of witnessing UFOs, four times at night and once in the afternoon. To be honest, I was intrigued more than anything. It didn't scare me a bit. I don't believe that so-called "aliens" are here to hurt us. They have such advanced technology that they could have done that years and years ago, so there's no reason to believe they are a threat. I'm very into astronomy and keep track of when you can the various planets in the sky and such, and this leads me to watch the sky much more often than most people have reason to. I think this is one of the reasons I've had so many sightings. For some reason, the lights on the crafts have always been orange, and each of the crafts I saw at night were able to stop, reverse, and fly at various speeds. The one I witnessed during the day was a triangular shape, with one orange light at each end of the triangle. It was a matted silver/gray in color and was very large, moving extremely slow directly above my car. At a certain point, it made an abrupt ninety degree angle turn to the left, then zoomed out of sight at a high speed. Seconds later, a U.S. jet-like aircraft came from the same direction, then made a gradual turn toward where the craft had flown, before following its path out of sight. Like I said, these types of things intrigue me. I would like to know if they are here for research, knowledge, etc., and also why the American government is so quiet about it while other governments have released what they know of extraterrestrials and their crafts to the general public. It won't cause a public outrage; when New Zealand released its government UFO research, no outrage or riots occurred, yet many people gained respect for the move. I simply don't understand why UFOs are so taboo in this country still when the existence of other intelligent life simply makes sense with the given measurements of the universe, and also since these crafts have been doing fly-bys of our planet for most (if not all) human history. It's nothing new, and yet many parts of the planet remain in denial.

I'm amazed you had so many encounters of UFO. Which of those encounters are closest distance to you? Did you have a chance to take any pictures or videos of them? Aliens and UFO are really intriguing topics and I don't see any reason why the US government would try to hide all information about it. I think the only way there could be panic is if the US government would say that the aliens are here to destroy us, which I highly doubt is the case. If they have this intention, they could have easily done that a long time ago with their more advanced technology and I'm sure they would have high-technology weapons as well ( although I think it's highly possible that such an advanced creatures could be peaceful creatures so they may have not invented any kinds of weapon...).

They said the anything flying that you cannot identify are considered UFO from its definition. It doesn't mean that when you see something flying that you cannot identify, there is always alien there. It could be airplane, or satellite roaming. Talking about aliens in spaceship, I would probably like to encounter even once in my lifetime. That will be a very wonderful experience as a person. Good day!

I believe you're right, U.F.O. does not necessarily mean they're space ships. As long as people cannot identify what's up in the air they are considered UFOs. Like you, I would also like to experience it but not to the point of close encounters..that could be scary.

Hi katie0, I don't know if you're serious or not...If you are, can you tell us what you saw? If not, then maybe you were mesmerized but was surprised that it was just an airplane...:D

haha. Yes, I think it would be good for us to be carrying a camera from now on anywhere we go. We cannot know when we can have an encounter with UFOs, so it would be great taking videos or pictures of them. Anyway, thanks a lot for the compliment...now I guess I would be walking around all day thinking how cute I am. hehe. And of course, continue enjoying your experience here in mylot. That would make working here more of fun :)

If I seen a U.F.O.I would be be scared. I would run and hide and watch to see where it goes. Than I would get on my phone and call the police to report it.

Would you try to take pictures or videos of it? In my case, I think I would but then I don't think authorities can do something about it. Well I guess at least they could report a UFO sighting and many others may have seen the same UFO, and who knows you might find yourself on tv being interviewed about your experience :)

I am a scientist and a big fan of Science Fiction, not as much of SyFy, so it would be a great experience. But I do not believe in them. The distances are just too far for any species intelligent enough to build a such a ship to have time to evolve and to get here. All our sightings of solar systems that have planets that might be capable of having life are very far away and what we see of them is from the distant past. The Universe itself is about 14 billion years old and Earth is about 4 billions years old and man's history is only a few thousand years with any real technology being only a hundred or so years old and the beginnings of venturing into space only 50 to 60 years old. So while ufo's are fun to contemplate, there just haven't been any here and probably will never be.

Hi stealthy, are you really a real life scientist? Wow, that is such a great career to have, and I have high respect for scientists. Anyway, you don't seem to believe in UFOs, would you say that this would be the general opinions of most scientists? I'm not sure if what you're saying is about the scientific reasons why UFOs can't exist, so I ask if there are some scientific basis for believing their non-existence. I would surely want to learn more about a scientist's point of view on this. I hope you share more of your ideas about this.

You can see something and think that it might be a UFO but unless it came very close to you, how could you be sure. When you hear the stories of people who claim to have met and been abducted by aliens, I am not so sure I would want to meet any. These stories mostly talk about the people having experiments performed on them, some of which are painful. Then the aliens does thinks to make their cptives forget what happened to them.

It gives me excitement and fear as well. but i wonder if they are really true and if aliens do exist. If so, what will they do when they land the Earth? Are they really bad creatures? Or we just misjudged them?

Hello BD4M, I am not really sure if I believe in their existence but if given a chance to see one, then I would grab that opportunity. But just like you, I think I will also be scared by it because I am not sure if it will abduct me or what. But just so I can make myself believe in its existence, I would love to have those encounters too.

Yes, that would really be an experience we can never forgot. Being abducted by aliens would be the last thing I want to happen in that kind of situation. Anyway, if I see that the UFO is from a far distance I would take pictures or videos of it but if it's a close encounter, I'm not sure if I can get the courage to get my camera and take videos or pictures of it because I would rather run away as far away as possible.
