I have got a child of age 4 years . He is very attached to both of us and also to some extent to his grandparents. But his relation to each of us can be distinguihed . While for certain things he depends on his mother (my wife) for certain other things on me .So far school curricula are concerned he depends solely on his mother , for general knoledge and stories his dependence is on me and for religious things( he does not know it is religion or spirtuality ) he approaches his grandparents . I am puzzled who he feels closer to him , his mother or father or grandparents of him ? On your part who do /did you felt closer to you ?

My mother, my father was never around. He worked all the time. From sunup to sundown. So i didnt really ever see him. For my kids I think they are closer to me. I do more with them, but they love both of us just the same.

Didn't you feel unhappy about not seeing him ? What exactly was type of his work that he never turned up before you for so long a period ? With humble request to let me know the above , thank you .

My father worked for the post office, so he would get up early to sort the mail and then after work he was the president of the postal union. So he work late at the office. Then when they came out with those 4 extra numbers on your zip code he worked on that project. That had him traveling alot. Then when i was 13 mom kicked him out. I think she got tired of being alone.
