i don't know how to use a video converter

i used to use it well without any problem. but now i am going to transfer videos for my playbook. i don't know which one i should use that is compatible with my playbook. although i don't watch videos a lot. but still it is just sort of cool to have some knowledge how to do it when in case i just want to transfer videos from computer to playbook. there is no problem downloading videos to my computer, the problem is i can't transfer those videos i downloaded from youtube.
