Magician's Secrets Revealed.

There is this program on one of the cable stations that reveals the secrets of the magicians and their tricks. Like when they cut a girl in half or the disappearance ones, stuff you just don't see the secret behind how they do it. This show shows you how they are done. Now my big question and what I don't understand at all is how can the magicians let this happen? Is the magician thing going down the tube and none of them really care anymore or what? I mean if I was a magician and made big bucks with my elusions and so forth I would think a bunch of them would get together and pay off the station and/or producers so they didn't air this show. So what are your thoughts on this?

That used to be a big deal. The different magicians kept their secrets very safe. Why is that different now? I thought it was pretty weird.

I think since people are very curios about stuff like this, if a magician shows the tricks, he could be paid a large amount of money and ht show will be watched by lots of people. I watch shows like these too, it is fun.. I am sure they have dozens of new tricks that we still don't know..

Really. But alot of other responders have said they still enjoy the show even knowing how the trick is done. I have a problem with that but everybody's different.

yes i enjoy this show also , it really show the basic secret technique and science behind those classic and some scary magic or illusion used.So are quite smart and some are quite intelligence tricks.Yes it has come to the point there is no much honor among the industry , because even without the tv shows , there are shops magic shows selling these equipments and also tons of books about these tricks exposed.

I have seen their shows too. Also a hypnotist. Not recently though. It probably would be just as entertaining.

Yes, i think they should not reveal the secrets for free. Houdini might not approved it to. But in the Houdini movie(dont remember the title)but i remember the actors Hugh Jackman and Cristian Bale and scarlett johansson(love love the movie)they even outdo each other to be the best. What i get from watching Magicians Secrets Reveal is to be a small time magician that if i still could recall the tricks.

The movie you spoke of was really entertaining. I wonder if the show was screaming for an entirely new level of magic to come from it.

I think I've seen this show once or twice also. I think that the tricks they're revealing are the old common ones and the new better ones are still under their sleeves. So that there will still be something to look after for. And viewers might be more bizarred with the new ones since they will already have a new perspective on how the illusion or trick was possible.
