Do you believe in this line? Well, I am not here for a fight but then I just like to hear your opinions on this matter. Let's just say we are looking for a talent and being a great singer, who desereves this title for the two,Phillipi and Jessica? What can you say about the final round where the two of them face the battle? I guess there's really a trend on this show. just like those who've won the past few seasons which says the line "WGWG meaning white guy with guitar" so, if ever you wanted to join, see to it that you have this quality. If not, just like Jessica, prove to the world you still can be a great singer! Here's a link for funny moments of AI: (Holiday eats Jessica and all funny moments...) http://everythinginbudget.blogspot.com/2012/05/funniest-american-idol-season-11-memes.html

Yes, given Jessica's talent, she should win the American Idol. However that won't happen because it's supposed to be American Idol, and voters would love to see a pure American winning it instead of some mixed parentage personnel. It doesn't matter how wins it because at the end of it, only talent is recognized while trophies, prize money are merely temporary consolation to glorify their personal honor.

So,which side are you on? Have you voted for Jessica or Phillips then? Well, people have different kinds of opinions and it's just that you can't help to think that it is called "American Idol" so it's good to see that Americans deserve to win and not half-half of it... Just like what we have in the Philippines, we have Pinoy Big Brother but then there are times they get to choose thewinners are not pure Filipino so it can be really sad feeling to see that a Filipino had lost the competition...

i'm a filipino but i'm not a fan of jessica's voice..:) she has an extraordinary talent, that's true, but i think she still needs to "personalize" her stuff. she can definitely sing the phonebook, as jackson says it, but i think you need more than your voice to become an artist. jessica's style is more like the karaoke-style while phillips does his own thing. he's unique and his voice is more calming than jessica's. i think he deserves the title and there was no racism or whatever ism there is. both of them are talented but phillips is more skillful and more passionate in his craft. for me, JS sings to please, to tell the world how great she can be while PP sings because he just love doing it and he doesn't give a damn on what others think of his style, a true and passionate artist indeed..:) well, this is just my opinion..:)

Hello rairairae! I respect your opinion on this. wel, we do have different kinds of opinions and we just have to respect others' sides. It's good to know other sides cause we can also come to think that not all people does think the same way we do. Thanks for sharing your views on this one. I just wonder where are they both now... I don't watch the channel anymore that so I don't have idea. You maybe right that Phillips has his own creativity and style. He also is a good looking one and that is a plus. Just that sometimes we can't help to think that the winners have the same rendition and kinds of style, isn't it?

Yeah, it's truth.. haha :D Jessica only lost out because she's not American even though she has mexican blood in her.. haha :D But it's ok sicne most winners often fade away the moment Idol season ends. WHile runner ups, to some others in top 10, they tend to do much better than winners. If i'm not wrong, there's already a 'single' ready for Jessica and it's playing on air everywhere now.. lol :D So there's no point in winning the competition at all

Yes, you are right, brother! :) Most of the time, the title is just a title itself! People just have to do and stand for it. But if people really likes or loves you, you will still shine the most. You just have to stand up even if you fail and fall to win the title... It is still you who makes the stand for yourself to be loved and deserving after all...

Honestly speaking I prefer the American Phillips over Jessica to win. When it comes to voice Jessica wins but on the prospect that who would make a lot of sales of albums or who would make it more successful as a singer, Phillips would be the sure pick. Filipinos should not be so ambitious, we should be satisfied that Jessica made it in the second spot, anyway it is "American Idol", if an American join-Philippine Idol version of AI, many would not want a foreigner to win the contest meant for the Philippines.

Hello averygirl, you have a point there. I just commented on the previous responder above you and said that it is still American Idol and Americans still deserve to win than half of the blood. For sure, it will be their pride, and I do agree to that. But still Jessica wins the heart of most people and both of them won even not in the title itself. I know they have their own journeys after the competition itself...

no reason for fights in here i believe. Jessica is very good but from the start I doubt if she will make it as the winner. America will surely both for american look and I can understand that. It's obvious Jessica is the best in singing, Phil has more charm. u are right Phil is the american, Jessica is the idol. Although it's sad, I read Jessica is getting smaller amount of money for singles or album tan the past runner ups. This one I don't understand.

You are right, luisaR! I think Filipinos just feel sad about it since they really liked Jessica that much, and were all supporting her. But then, that's life. we lose some, we win some... There are time for us to shine. Maybe Jessica is not for the American Idol title but then she deserves the love of the people who supported her along the way. Every contests there are winners and even if we lose, there's still hope and just be happy to the one who won, isn't it? Oh really? SHe is getting smaller amount than other runner ups before, how come this happened? Too bad, she deserves to have the price she would have!

Yeah, It's just the caption I got from other Filipinos I knew... That was her status in her fb back to the days the American Idol was still hot that time... Yeah, I wish them both luck in their own journeys after the competition. I know there will be projects for them to face and make them more popular and share their talents...

I am a Filipino, and I am very proud of Jessica. She has shown her talent not only to America, but to the whole world. Her talent as described by the judges is extraordinary and she has that incredible gift of voice. In fairness to Philip, he really also deserves to win as his talent is also unique as an artist having his own style making him outstanding amongst others. Jessica won in my heart, but Philip deserves being an idol.

Oh, so are you a fan of Jessica or Phillip? sounds confusing in here... Well, when it comes to originality, it would be Phillip, since he sang most of his style of "country song" or the likes and have this facial expressions that some may love to imitate as well.. Plus the fact that he is American, he deserves to win. My, when we are here in the Phillipines, we also want to win those Filipino ones when joining Pinoy Big Brother or something like those of with Phillippine titles. As they say, it's racist. And even though Jessica didn't win, she seems to be the World Idol, which is much better to hear and proud to be her.

Yes, definitely.. I feel bad for Phillip though, since it is not his fault that the people voted for him and now many are disappointed and say Jessica is the true winner. I hope none of this news come to him, it'll be a bit depressing.

So, who have you voted for? I guess Phillip realized that he is the only american left since final three, is it? So, he knows that he is already a winner. And such titles can be just titles. The true winner is that those who people loved and admired more... I bet Jessica would be much popular than Phillip in the long run since Jessica gets all the support...don't you think? Well, if Philiipi heard those news it can be depressing though he knows he is also good at singing. it's just that we have to accept that not all people can want us...
