medical field is now a business

I have worked in a public hospital and in rural health centers, I can say those doctors working there are not after the people's money, but, they are after the welfare and the health of all. I am not sure with the doctors in private hospitals and clinics. There may be some who are doing it as an extra income, because like here in my country, doctors don't earn much. That is why they are doing their profession as a business instead of helping others especially those that are sick.

Conditions are worst in those countries where government dont give priority to health services like India, they are only supporting private sectors. When a doctor takes his/her degree he/she has to take a resolution like 'only making money is not their concern, serving the humanity is Doctor's first priority'..but after entering in their profession most of them forget all that, their only aim is money, money and money..Why they cant understand, the pain of loosing a family member or dear one is equal for all..

Correct, it is becoming a highly profitable business for doctor. Theit annual salary are rising very fast and more money are needed to pay for many types of medicines nowadays, without a doctor prescription, you can't get many simple medicine to cure your common sickness from the store, the medical industry is becoming bigger every year, and more complex law are passed annually to make it harder to buy medicine without a doctor signature, more people are getting poorer every year due to steep rising cost of medical care each year wile doctor is getting richer. .

I believe they are mainly out for the money like a business, for the wait is so long it seems it being paid by the hour..

Yes, medical field is now a lucrative business, and will always be. It is not bad to make it a business, for the continuation of its existence. Doctors needs to be rewarded. Health workers need to be rewarded and compensated too. We all need to get compensated for the work done. Just don't overdo it, like abusing the opportunity by charging patients with exorbitant fees. For God is watching us.

Our state government free provides iron and folic acid tablets to teen girls. And this time 100s of girls are ill and hospitalized after taking tablets. Just day before yesterday. The health minister says that they came to school on empty stomach. How ironic. It is all those qualityless tablets provided by bribing. have a nice time.
