Yes, it sure does. I went on a 3 day vacation on my bf's hometown and stayed with his family. I really had a great time despite all the travel time and only riding the motorcycle. I really enjoyed it for it was my first time. It hurts in the butt with the very bumpy road that we have to cross to go to our destination but what made it fun is the beautiful scene and the fresh air. You can never see too many cars on the road unlike here in the city. You can never see tall buildings that hides the beauty of nature. You see green every where. You smell fresh air anywhere you go. Plus you will see smiles with the people you pass by. During the ride, I really wanted to let go of my hold from the motorcycle and spread my hands to really feel the air, but people might think I'm crazy, so I just enjoyed the scene and feeling the air with a smile of contentment. DO share your what makes your travel worth remembering..

You have had great experience. I'm too. When I feel tired or stress, I usually look for ways to leave the city. I go to countryside or visiting my hometown.

It was indeed a good experience. It's really different when we go outside the city, there's always fresh air and stress free when you are there. Unlike in the city where all the pollution is present.

The people in the province is indeed friendly, very different from the city people. Life there is also very simple.

That's right. And the people in countryside is more friendship and open than in the center city. I love them. I love to live in a local family when I travel.

We actually went travelling this weekend. Over here in the UK we are having a bit of a heatwave, and like yourself I too live in the city. My partner, my partners sister [who is also like my best friend] and my partners sisters friend and son [all very confusing haha] went on a roadtrip. We travelled to a little town about 80 miles from where we live that is near the sea, and had walkis on the beach. We then travelled into the countryside and had a bbq.. it was amazing fun :) It's so nice to travel to somewhere new, especially if you are from the city because it's nice to get into nature :)

My bf said the temperature there is really hot, he is actually staying there to work. I don't know if you have notice this, but the heat in the city is different from the heat of the province. I think it's because there are many trees in the countryside than in the city. And yes, it's perfect to go to the beach especially during summer.

Yes! the country is far warmer than the city! The city is very sticky and clammy.. but the countryside is a nice dry heat :)

I am delighted that you had a fun time on your 3 day vacation to your boy friend's town. Now you are perfectly able to see just how very enjoyable traveling can be. I love seeing attractive looking architecture, picturesque viewpoints, see native wildlife and have a bit of an exciting adventure. I adore it when I can spend time on a palm fringed beach and then go snorkeling in the aquamarine sea. I hopefully see colorful coral and friendly fish when I do that. I have really happy memories of all the places that I have been to in my lifetime so far.

I's love to see what's under the sea as well. But, unfortunately we weren't able to go to the beach for the time was not enough. We just went to shrines on top of the mountains and have to climb the hundreds of steps and also went to caves and see wild monkeys and was able to feed them and went to a falls as well. The travel from their house to those scenes were an hour or so and you can only see many rice fields and mountains on your way there. That was why the air was really fresh because you see trees every where.

I really enjoy traveling, as well, Gaiza. My most recent vacation was here in the United States. I went down south and visited several different states. We started out driving to Lynchburg, Tennessee. We got up first thing in the morning and went to the Jack Daniels Distillery. It was the best tour I have ever been on, plus it was free! My favorite 4 letter word, LOL. We left from there, and drove all the way to the southern tip of Alabama to Gulf Shores. We stayed at the Gulf Shore Plantation. It was very relaxing and lots of fun. February was the perfect month to visit. Next, we drove to New Orleans for the Mardi Gras. We didn't go downtown until the day after, as we enjoyed the family atmosphere area for the actual parade. Even though I enjoyed seeing the architecture downtown in the French Quarter, I think I liked the City Park the best. The sculptures there were truly amazing! On the way home, we spent our final evening in Nashville. It was fun going down to Broadway and listening to all of the live bands. Finally, we stopped and did a little shopping in Louisville, on the final leg of our trip. It was one of the best times I have had in a while. Looking forward to many more. May all your travels be....lots of fun, and mostly free!

Free, oh how I love that word as well Your vacation was sure fun especially when you are with your love ones and friends. It must be very tiring as well after all the hours of travel, but I know for sure that the tired feeling will all be gone after seeing the place, the fun faces of the mardi gras and listening to the live band plus shopping, I just love to shop especially when I have enough money. I am hoping as well that there will be more fun and exciting travels for all of us here.

it is always worth traveling if one travels with loved one/s. the sceneries and landscapes and seascapes become special and meaningful with your loved ones beside you because it is the shared experience that count as memorable in the relationship. experiencing something new is worthwhile in every travel. we love to travel because it gives us another perspective of the world.

Being with my bf's family was a great experience indeed. Even if my bf was not around, I still felt his presence through his family. They welcomed me like I am already part of the family and they never let me feel that I was some kind of an ordinary visitor. It was really a great vacation that i will never forget being with my 2nd family and seeing the beauty of nature.

Just last March 30 to April 1 I had the chance to visit Baguio City, Philippines again, and this time, with my family. I've been to Baguio City several times, but the last time was the best because with me are the best people I want to be with. I would really love to travel. And I really want to do this with my family. Exploring the beauty of nature is best done when your family is around.

I agree with you. You can never experience more fun in travelling than being with your family. I was with my second family or hopefully soon to be my second family on my last travel. And I really had so much fun with them even if we don't know each other very well.
