I've been working in the same company for 6 years and though the pay's not THAT good for a programmer, I can say I'm still pretty happy. My boss and team mates played a huge part on the reason as to why I don't want to leave the company yet. If they're not around, I probable left the company in my 3rd working year

Yeah right! Sometimes it's not about the job but the people you work with that will surely miss :)

I am quite happy in the job that I have at the moment, although I have only been in it for a couple of months so I guess that there is every chance that I will tire of it before long. I write articles on the internet for people who need something researching for them. I love being able to work from home and choose when I work, as it means that I am able to get everything done that I need to during the course of the day. I don't think that I would ever really want to do a job that meant I had to keep to regular office hours as I wouldn't have as much freedom then.

Such happens in a while especially, when there begin to arise discontentment in the work. You need to discover the passion you had when you first got the job. Here are my reasons and the possible solution, I will apply to the situation: 1. Job not aligning with your interest or passion in life. I would force myself to love it as my welfare depends now on it. 2. Boss becoming personal with everything I do, nit-picking all things and ranting also at me. I find out what he loves and see if I can find favor before him. 3. Incompatible colleagues. Fellows who try to shift their work to me to do and always chide my work. I would reply them that my priority is to please him who employed and also help them if I got the time. 4. Longer working hour. I begin to get bored. I will shift what I cannot do that day the next day while I will finish what that cannot be carried over. 5. Call from boss from my home and want me to do a given task. I would learn to switch off my phone if am with my loved ones or people that are dear to me. 6. I have too many delegators of work. I will arrange the work in order of priority and with respect to the most senior in the company and finish it before taking up the nest task.
