Why haven't I received any discussion notifications from myLot so far?

I had this same problem last april, actually, for a couple of days, I couldn´t even log in to mylot, and it ended being one problem with their servers, maybe it is the same with you right now, you should ask other people in your area if they have had the same problem.

It is extrange indeed, in my case, it lasted only for a few days, maybe there is a way to contact directly to MyLot, I don´t know, you could try, changing your settings and direct your mylot mail to a gmail account, for instance, in case you are right, and yahoo settings are to blame. But, as long as you can enter the site and interact here, there is nothing to worry about, eventually, things will settle down, and you will receive notifications back again.

But my problem has lasted for over 1 month,you know!I should have been normal,but it isn't!I guess yahoo email is to blame for the problem,maybe it blocks my messages from myLot in case I would become a spy,hehe.

Hi Oldsix!
I am not sure why this is happening to you. I have not had this happening to me. But you could check to see that your friends are checked as notifying you when they start a new discussion. And make sure that they have the correct email for you. Also check to be sure that your emails are not going to spam. I have never heard of the site that you mentioned. ~C~

Such a glitch has never happened to me before,but it's been here for so long!I can say all my friends notify me by yahoo email as they start their new discussions,but yahoo email doesn't give them to me,I don't why!But I can start a new discussion and submit a comment as usual!What a weird thing!

I am really not sure why you haven't received notifications. There have been times that I wouldn't get any notifications for several days at a time, but lately I have been getting them again. How are you doing these days? I haven't seen you for a long time, but most of the time I just move new discussions to another folder to be reviewed later. I hope things are going well for you! I'll try to manage it according to the help from the myLot friends.
Maybe I'm not strong enough so that I often encounter some simple health problems like cold,cough,fever or skin sensibility,I hate them!
Sigh,your health is really a big trouble!But few people can finish their life perfectly all the life.So we have to face the truth without choosing.
Thanks for your care to my grove.The orange trees are growing very well,but I had to chop down more than 80 of them last year for their illnesses and being too dense.Have fun!

It can be a glitch on mylot's part or maybe your email service provider? Are you using gmail or yahoo mail for notification? I've faced the same problem a couple of times before, and i'm using gmail. There's a period of time, about few days i didn't receive any notifications from mylot. I happened to check on 'discussions my friends started', from there i saw all the post i missed out on. By then, i'm lazy to comment and i simply let it be. After a few days, everything is back to normal again.

I received many emails from 5in5Now.com also, i hate it. It is very annoying. ..
You don't receive any notifications from mylot more, it is really good you know? it means that all your topics and discussions are not violation with mylot's guidelines.
I still received notifications from mylot sometime, umh...but all reasons are my discussions are deleted because the topics are deleted...sigh,...

The problem is that I haven't had any notifications from myLot except those from 5in5Now.com or something else sometimes!!!!!!!!!Maybe it's 5in5Now.com that stops the notifications from myLot!

There was a glitch in the system that kept discussion notifiers from being sent to us starting around April 29th. I think most of the problems were fixed a couple weeks ago. That was when I started getting notified of new discussions started by my friends.
The past few days it seems like some of the comment and deletion notifications might not be going out. I replied to some discussions that have disappeared (seems the user who started them might have been banned 
) and never got a notification that they were deleted.
I'm sorry I'm not familiar with the other site you mentioned. I can't comment on why notifications from that site arrive often, aside from the fact that they are a different site than MyLot. They wouldn't be affected by any site-specific problems MyLot is having.

But MY problem has not been fixed even by now!Of course I can enter myLot by other ways to start new discussions and do posting,it's fine enough.I hope the glitch will be corrected soon.Have a nice weekend!
