Are you a big fan of "The Walton's"

hi dataminer! i grew up watching the waltons, and i love them too! when i was a child i really wanted to be a walton, i guess because i was a shy quiet child and i just loved the family and all the townspeople and characters too! i remember an episode when john ritter was playing a visiting preacher staying with the waltons and practicing preaching to the chickens! this is probably funny to me because both my dad and husband are pastors, and my husband has taped sermons with our dog listening! when i was a child i was a little afraid of grandma walton because of her gruffness, but now i find her a loveable character. what are your favorite characters/episodes? oh, the baldwins sisters are cool, and ike godsey's wife was hilarious! i still would love to just drive into walton land and stay for a while!

I used to enjoy watching, The Waltons, when I was a wee young child. Lately, when I've watched it (which isn't often) I find that it's not as interesting as it once was for me. A couple of years ago I tried to get a job in the very town where The Waltons was filmed. But I didn't get the job.
