A friend of mine was recently in a motorcycle accident. Luckily, he didn't hit any car, nor he was okay, only some bruises, and scratches on his arm, legs. He was rest for 2 days, and then back to work. He described that on the 2 lane road, there wasn't much car, then he tried to speed up a bit, and then he tried to stop and his motorcycle hit on the curd side, and he flip over. His left hand was swollen, and he has to see the doctor immediately. Once again, he was fortunate that he has no broken bone or anything serious injuries. When he show me his bruises, I just told myself, not my type of stunt to mess with.

Motorcycle accidents are very dangerous. Most people are not as lucky as your friend. He has to be more careful when riding them.

It's really true that accidents from motorcycles are increasing in numbers. We have been using this form of transportation for at least ten years. We should be more careful, alert and observant of others. There are times that no matter how careful we are, but if other drivers are not careful, we will be most likely get into accidents.

Motorcycle has always been unsafe. Even if the driver itself safely drives it, but we can't take away other factors such as drivers from vans, cars, etc. With just a little bump on the motorcycle's handle, accident will surely follow. I have experienced this one too and I will not buy motorcycles again.

Motorcycles are extremely dangerous and risky. My cousin was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident twelve years ago, leaving behind his wife and two small children. My cousin was only thirty years old. Your friend is extremely blessed that he was not killed.

Yeah, motorcycles are very dangerous.. and i noticed most of traffic accidents in our country always involve motorcycles.. and they always get hurt badly. People should be very careful in driving around these stuff, or at least wear the proper gear and not always be in a hurry.

My brother had a motorcycle accident accident too few years ago, and it almost killed him. He broke both of his arms, had a fracture on his mandible too. Yet, for him, he still felt lucky because he survived. As he recovered from those injuries, he again managed to ride that motorcycle once again! Quite tough huh? I have always told him, God might have given you SECOND Life, I just hope he will you third then. I may sound like Im cursing him, but i just want to give him a heads up to be very careful when riding the motorcycle.

Hi kingparker, besides making a lot of unnecessary loud noises, I think motorcycles are very dangerous just riding regularly let alone doing some crazy stunts... My brother use to own a motorcycle and he and his friends went riding one Sunday when there was an accident and my brother picked his friends arm up off the pavement and gave it to the EMT driver when his friend was transported to the hospital..he promises God that if lets his friend he will sell his motorcycle...2 week later my brother sold his motorcycle and have not rode one since.... They are dangerous....bottom line!!!!!!

Your friend is fortunate not to have sustained further injury. Is your friend planning to continue riding? I would suggest that he take a motorcycle riding course. The U.S. military requires all of its personnel who ride motorcycles to take a safety training class. Often, in towns with a military presence, you can take advantage of taking the same classes. They are excellent classes in regard to motorcycle riding safety. What you learn in this course could save your friends' life one day. I used to own a motorcycle. I love to ride. Unfortunately, one day a car hit me, knocked me off the bike, and never stopped. I haven't ridden since.

Proper care should be taken when using a motorcycle. A special liscense is required. For the safety of your friend, tell him to slow down or ride a bike. I once wrecked on a motorcycle and have never owned another since. It would be easy to be killed on a motorcycle, so i am affraid to take that chance again. I was going to fast and...hit the curb. its easy to lose control on a motorcycle.
