I've heard this story from a friend. A mother and her 18 year old pregnant daughter came up to this old maid/spinster and said, "We wanted to give you the baby when she comes out. We don't have enough money to pay for the hospital bills when she labors. You can have her baby. We cannot bring her up well anyway." The maiden asked the pregnant and convinced her, "you can work after giving birth, you can still raise your child well." The teenager just looked at her and said, "The father's not claiming that this is his child." That would be her second baby and the first one's living with her. She has 5 siblings and her 60 year old mother's working as an all around maid for a well known family in their town while her father has died a long time ago. The old maid obviously felt pity for them and wanted a baby anyway, adopted the child. Two years after, the old maid learned that the woman was pregnant again, but from another man this time and gave the baby away, again. Life is hard and complicated and we can't simply judge. It's hard.

You don't want to judge but in that situation come on! Stop having kids! There is birth control she can use. They can't keep giving away their kids if it is a true story. It is sad and they will regret it someday when the kids are old enough to research why they were given away
