Funny how as we grew up we hardly ever used the computer. Now kids these days live on the computer. My kids even love google. They are always saying I wonder this or what about that. I guess I will google it LOL. My little ones are 6 and 8. How about your children?? Do they enjoy the computer as well??

Gah. I guess I'm still too young to post in this, but nevertheless; I don't have a smartphone (yet), but I think I will be getting one this summer. Everyone in my neighborhood happens to own one, even the Freshman of our high school, but from what I'm getting at is that.. I think that the 90's generation and older are adapting to this technological revolution that (maybe) your generation had.
With the pace of technology that is improving, I don't think that we're going to be able to revert back. Technology is improving every few months, so it would be truly difficult to go back to traditional ways until you go to the wilderness, but even then, that's too far back.

Yea, you are right lol.. I am an 80's baby.. Yes the technology is improving. My kids probably by next year will be more advance than I am. My middle son is like mom how do you make a website?? I wanna make a website?? I want money?? lol he is only eight. He also wants a smart phone!!

Haha, It's unfortunate he won't be able to because of legal reasons. There are however, many videos on YouTube that can help him learn how to make a website. I myself am not actively motivated to learn how to make a website using HTML/Javascript, but if you simply search up videos, there are hundreds of videos that show how to make up a simple "Hello World!" type of website, to a website that is as complex as Facebook or Amazon.
My prediction is that over the next 10 years, education will be as free as downloading music illegally on the internet. There already have been How-To videos, so I won't be surprised if they make educational ones! :)

Yes that's a lot of fun. we enjoy the computer and the internet. We can search the info or knowledge, play games, watch video, sharing, etc.

my 3 children aged 16, 9 and 7 are all very good when it comes to computers, they talk among themselves that I have to continuously have to upgrade my knowledge ( to the best I could manage

For me ,i do not have a child yet.But i do think that i'm really looking forward for that day and see how happy they are and enjoy their childhood.I love that,lol,being together with kids can really bring us to the childhood again.

That's awesome. My daughter is too young to enjoy the computer just yet. I'm sure though when she gets older she will. She will look up things just like me.
