Reincarnation?

I have read on books and seen on TV about reincarnation. I've also heard adults talk about it when I was a child. Up until now, I am thinking about it. Half of me believes it to be true. Maybe man really gets reincarnated. How and why? I don't know. My speculation is, a man is reincarnated to fulfill the unaccomplished mission. It's really a mystery. What do you think about reincarnation and its mysteries? =)

I am like you with this. I am not really sure about it, but the saying that people are old souls throws thought into this. How would a person be an old soul or a new soul besides being reincarnated. And my dog is the strangest dog I have ever had. I have said since we got her that she is the most non-dog that I have ever had. She is just like human. Barely acts like a dog.

It explains all the unfair things we see in this world. But the only thing that was proof enough to me was the 'feeling'. I know about things I did wrong and I feel the urge to make it right, believing is seeing and after being convinced only by myself, no religion taught me then I actually saw. I know the why of 3 very difficult relationship I have this life that in the past something happened and that's what make us being like this towards each other. Only 1 I still talk to the person. We are working things out. I also know what is like to be a man, I remembered one life that I was the man and this difficult person, a man now was my wife.

As a Christian i shouldn't be believing in reincarnation but like you i've been curious about it. Buddhism believes it's for the purpose of cleansing the soul. You won't be able to meet the divine one unless you have become perfect in your earth life. Thus the reincarnation. I've been reading about that too and according to that authority, a person can only be reincarnated as a person and not as an animal to redeem himself. But we really don't know for sure until we die and get reincarnated.

The concept of reincarnation is completely without foundation in the Bible, which clearly tells us that we die once and then face judgment (Hebrews 9:27). The Bible never mentions people having a second chance at life or coming back as different people or animals. Jesus told the criminal on the cross, "Today you will be with me in paradise" (Luke 23:43 , not "You will have another chance to live a life on this earth." Matthew 25:46 specifically tells us that believers go on to eternal life while nbelievers go onto eternal punishment. Reincarnation has been a popular belief for thousands of years, but it has never been accepted by Christians or followers of Judaism because it is contradictory to Scripture. Many modern pagans lso believe in reincarnation as do some New Age movements, along with followers of spiritism. For the Christian, however, there can can be no doubt: reincarnation s unbiblical and must be rejected as false. bye-bye!
