Today was Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 2's Diamond Jubilee. I'm here in Boston. God I missed all live. But have seen on TV. Hope we will see her platinum jubilee too. Anybody from my lotter community wants to share something about the Diamond jubilee, fell free to share. This is something does not occur frequently. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN God SAVE ENGLAND AND ALL OTHER NATIONS.

For all the grandeur of the whole event, the BBC screwed it all up by treating it as a third-rate game show, with every D-List celebrity they could drag out of the gutters so they wouldn't actually have to show and discuss the actual River Parade. What the heck were they thinking? It won't happen again in our lifetime, that's for sure, and the Beeb decided it should be a third-rate game show, and they gave all this lead in for the Royal Barge to go under Tower Bridge, and just before it happened they cut away to some would-be hag who was shouting at some old Chelsea Pensioner who didn't have a clue why the blonde bimbo was shouting at him. So they didn't even show the barge under the bridge, as that would have been historic, and the Beeb wasn't doing historic, unless you count dragging everyone who isn't anyone out of mothballs and sticking them all over London and, the moment anything important might happen, they cut to one of them. None of them had been clued in to what was historic or important, so they all stood there like gormless idiots with cameras in their faces, while the viewing public missed the most important event of the Queen's time on the throne. A bunch of more useless morons you'd have been hard to find to run the whole show. I am thoroughly disgusted with the whole thing. They didn't have ONE SINGLE WORD about all the Little Ships from Dunkirk, because that would have been HISTORIC and the Beeb didn't think it was a HISTORIC event. It was a sideshow for morons, and they should be d***ed ashamed of themselves. Disgusting! The Beeb has lost all of my respect over their actions on the day.

This is something I would love to see live, and it would be nice to see on tv. It something that you can say happened in your lifetime, and say you saw live or even meet the Queen.

Hello lawrence204 I have been reading all the hoopla regarding Queen Elizabeth and her Diamond Jubilee, but I haven't seen anything either in person, or on the television. Apparently it's an exciting time in England.
