I play my guitar almost daily. I solo it at least an hour a day. Does anyone else play the guitar?

If you call what I do playing guitar then yes I do. :) I can't do anything fancy but I have learned a lot of chords. My guitar friends call me a little of a perfectionist. Not because I play to perfection, not at all. I do however want everyone to play it right and to know their chords. Who do they call when they need to know, me. Ha We have a lot of fun and try to jam and party at least once a week. I personally play a min. of 2 hours a day and usually up to 4 hours. I work at home and my office is almost sound proof. I can set my hours and I can set my volume. Well I only have an acoustic but I can make lots of noise without disturbing the rest of the family. I am very soft rock and a little bit country because of the friend that taught me guitar. I learned what he knew and then started teaching him all that I was learning, so I caught a bit of his country side. Great variety. From John Prine, Jimmy Buffet, Bob Seger, James Taylor but really nothing raunchy or punk or rap. That's way out of my love of music. What do you know and love?

Well ... I know many songs, solo parts and harmonic but I must say that i love how John Petrucci from Dream Theater. If you listen just one song you'll see why. He has speed, accuracy, finesse ... you name it. I generally listen to progressive metal bands just like Dream Theater, Symphony X, Thunderstone and the list can continue. I play only on electric guitar. I use to have 3 guitars (one of them is electric), but now I only have this one.
