It's fun talking to different people everyday. From it you learn continuously. But there comes a time that you get tired, stressed, pressured of those customers or even the people around you. However, at the end of the day, I make sure that I smile and tell myself that I have succeeded and passed the day, then look forward taking calls again the following day.

I have worked in several call centers and I lasted the longest 5 years and came out to be the top sales person at that job but they closed down I miss it so much it was a blast just to wake up every day just to go there there was always something going on and we all got along and made great money! I miss that place! Other call centers I just could not deal with the way they treated people and now I went from working at my next favorite call center to working for them from home now its great! But I do miss the co workers!

That's a good attitude. Call center work does require a lot of patience and a call center agent has to make sure that he or she is not as hot-headed as the irate customer he is assisting. I admit I did learn a lot from my call center work for 4 years. I was able to practice Spanish, the Spanish which I only learned from Spanish books before as I was really interested in learning the language. Nothing beats experience.

Wow. That is so nice. I have heard some of the call center agents that the work is very stressful. I am glad that you made it and you really enjoy it.

That's true. Even if I am not really experiencing what you had been experiencing. I can get what you want to convey. I just realized sometimes that even if you are talking to someone else. You feel so bored about the topic you are discussing. That's why being tired follows. But anyway, it's good that you have always the perseverance to be working again the next day.I hope you'll really make it everyday. Just be patient and enjoy what you are doing.

I think the best thing that happened to me is when I got to work in call centers (that's two years ago). I used to work in several call centers. Yes, it was rewarding talking to different people on the phone. Aside from getting your oral communication skill improved, you get to learn many things about life and different cultures. I'd feel stressed out after the day but for unknown reason, I'd always want to get back taking calls or just be in the call center atmosphere. Right now I'm into business but still would love to work in call center. Really, I miss my life in BPO industry.

I have been working in the same call center company for more than five years and what you said was true. The nature of the job maybe taxing but not only that you get to learn but help other people as well, including the ones who declined to be help. You also realize that the world is not really that big and that even though English is a second language you gain confidence by talking to people from all walks of life.
