The mishap of today

Today, I and my best friend Angel, we had a mishap. We started to target the city of Bordeaux. I must say that we arrived on site late at afternoon. We had only three quarters of an hour, before embarking on the train to back.
We only had time to visit a beautiful church, then ran toward the train station. We missed the train for back!
Fortunately (so just to say) an hour later there was another train back to Toulouse (the city where we currently staying). This time we were waiting near the station. Here comes the absurd. This time we were more than timely, the train was delayed by 20 minutes!

That is what you call the irony of life my dear friend. What happened to you was really ironic!

How ironic, huh? It seems this kind of thing always happens to me, but now I am assured that I am not the only one. haha.

There's an Italian saying that says: "All right, that ends well." It seems however that in our case we were able to rectify the best!
