Weekend Get Aways!

Do you ever have times where you want a place to go away for on the weekend to get away from everything? I have those times every now and then and this weekend is one of them. So my boyfriend and I our planning a trip to go to my friends house that's 2 hrs away for the weekend to have fun and not have to worry about anything. Were just going to hang out eat junk food, play the wii and have bon fires and drink. It's going to be a splendid time. If we were to stay home on the weekend his parents would want him every second of the day and he gets annoyed by it but does it because he loves his parents so getitng away is much needed for the both of us i can't wait. We are leaving friday night as soon as he gets out of work. What are you all doing this coming up weekend? Anything fun?

I wish I was going somewhere fun this weekend. Too bad I have a research paper to work on. Next week I may just head to the beach for the weekend. Take a break from college for the weekend. Have fun on your trip!

Good luck with your research paper but even in college you still need a break from things, find a friend go away for a weekend and then come back to school work the end of the weekend. Doesn't hurt to try :)

I think its great to get away. Sometimes you just feel a need to. For me it is little journeys not far away that don't take very long. I do usually travel every summer somewhere and not sure what it is going this year. Normally I go for a weekend but it isn't very often. Hope you enjoy yourself and go safely.

I used to travel every labor day week to north carolina and stay there for a week, it was definately a nice get a way. But now that my family moved from nc back to ny I don't travel there anymore. But some day I just might go back for the heck of it because I do miss the beach scene and all the shopping venues they have.

Good weekend plan you got there. I will be working this weekend but i'm gonna party the night before Saturday so i'm gonna be okay. It's been awhile since i went out with friends and have fun so tonight i'll be doing that.

Well actually, we're talking about you and me the right argument. In fact I live in Italy, but at the moment, I am in France, specifically in Lourdes (tour purely in order to of prayer). I'm away from home since last Saturday. I am accompanied by my dear friend Angelo, I'm very happy to have started this journey. Opportunities in life (in my opinion) should be taken to flight, could not happen one other time, such an opportunity.

Usually my husband and I were going out of town every weekends to relax and spend time together or we hang out with friends. Since were living in the city its easily to get away because all of the transportation was available 24/7 and near to our place. But this coming weekend we are not going anywhere, we both agreed to stay home to save money so that we can replace our computer and watched the boxing fight of Manny Pacquio on Sunday, since my husband was a big fan of Pacquio.
