I want to do good in maths,Because I've been poor in only maths for last few year and I feel that I have got less then thirty in my current Math xam and want to raise it! I have a math exam coming in 2 weeks and ive to study everything from the beginning of the year like simple number, fractions, decimals, algebra etc. Can you tell me how to study good and remember them properly and how to focus?

I'm also a student and so far, I didn't failed in any math subjects I have since my first year in college. For me, all you have to do is listen to you're instructor and always give some time to review. 2 hours per day and you won't have any problems in exam. When I study I don't just focus in one book. I passed algebra, trigonometry, solid mensuration, analytic geom, advance algebra and many more math subject with good grades. We have lots of math subjects because I'm an engineering student :). When I study in one subject, I put all my books related in math beside me for some reference if I don't understand the topic at all. Hard work is the key. Good luck on your exam! :)

Only way to study maths is work out.Lots of work out.Solve the problems by your own from the text books , guides and question papers.Study by doing the work out.Don't try to read it.just do it. And write all the formulas needed in a paper and try to memorize it.

Do more exercise. - PRactise practise
i weak in maths too. Still weak in maths.I guess to improve maths is understanding and do many exercise . Especially those who are important in coming exams. See many samples too , there are many ways a math equation can be done like.Hopely throught the many exercises you will become familiar with the working of the maths solution and better understanding.Asking help from good maths students is good also.

Hello, I was a straight A student when it came to math. The way i used to learn it, i used to take my math book, and just repeat the problems(examples) that they had in the book during the chapters. I would then take a problem from the exercises and just do them exactly the way the example was. After doing that over and over i was able to comprehend the concept of it. After each lesson i learned i would move to the next chapter and add another step to it, so it went from 2*2 to 212*212 or something to that affect. So once you learn the basics of the problems your doing, everything else will fall in place. I truely believe in the concept that repetition is the key to memory. Think about how you learned your ABCs and 123s..in school, at home, or where ever, you heard it over and over again. Think about it, you didnt know your name until you heard someone calling it over and over again, right? So practice DOES make perfect.

My dad is very good in math, He always reminds me that practice is the best way to improved in math. For example, If you are studying about algebra, all you have to do is get a math book with complete formulas, then study the equations and how will you solve the math problems.then get a piece of paper and try to solve a problem by your own,If you don't know how to solve a problem open your book again and look for a solution, next after you solve that math problem, try another.Do this at your free time and you'll improve your math skills! Good luck Jupita101! :)
