Finding the perfect apartment is "LUCK", I must say!

It is so hard to find the right flat. I have this ideal apartment in my head as anyone has for sure but to find that is like finding a needle in a hay stack regardless of how much money you've got. One of the apartment owners told me that it is when one builds his or her own house where all ones fantasies could be put into reality.
I of course wanted to be close to where I work but at least it should be quite. A nice kitchen is very important as well coz I cook a lot of Asian food which means it needs to be situated in the right area with enough vent for the smoke coming from the different spices mixed in the food. Otherwise the whole house smells like an Asian restaurant the whole time including my clothes. A balcony is always nice. A nice oven is a must as well so that I could just bake and leave it inside before going to work and would be ready by the time I get back home. As much as possible, it should be on the 3rd floor and up with a lift. A bathtub is a plus as my work is very athletic. With these in mind, I was all over the city, going crazy and frustrated.
In the end, I had to compromise. I got a good size of kitchen with huge windows(with not so nice oven). It has a balcony and is on the 4th floor with lift but not so near the workplace that's why it is quite. It has a bath tub as well. Thus, I realized that the perfect one comes with luck!:)

I also have the same sentiments. I had my own rented place already before we were called for a training. So I had to gave up the place because it would take me 2 months to complete the training. This time, we were required to stay in the field office for another 3 months. In as much that I wanted to stay in my own home, my work required me to stay in a place near our office. We have to stay with a group as one of the requirements. So we have to find a place where we could stay together. Until now we can not find the place that we want.
