Can you apply for a credit card again even if you have defaulted before?

Anyone here who defaulted a card who was able to get a new one? What did you do?

You can try to apply for a different card but if you don't have good credit at all your odds are very high to be denied.You could also make an effort to pay off those that you have defaulted (sometimes that can be reflected in your credit score and obtain a slip saying your account is paid in full) or refi them to help your credit score.

I do have some defaulted credit cards and I don't have any intention of applying for one. The only non-default credit card that I have is somewhat company issued so I really don't want to default that one :D I'm not too sure on how "in depth" bank's investigation on credit card applicants but there are some instances wherein a defaulter can't apply for another card. Some are still able to apply for one though even if they're defaulters.
