I have now two possible franchise business to buy by next year and I am sure this is what I want to do but I don't the money to invest to buy a franchise. But I learned that there are two banks in my locality that has a loan program to those who wants to get involved in a franchise business. the good things is that if the bank ask for a collateral which i don't have one so i planned to write a business plan for my planned of buying a franchise. What do think about my idea?

Although I would presume that you have a good plan, I would advice that you study it very carefully and review it. 100% of people who plan to go to business or actually went into it think that it would work and make profit but a lot would find out sooner or that's it's not so when they are already there or when unexpected problems arises. Banks are very aware of these over enthusiasm. Although it's good that you can get a no collateral loan, inspect carefully the interest rate and other fine prints. I would advice if I may that you also raise your own money, if you can, at least 50 percent of it and loan the other half, why? simply because you need a fall back plan when things does not go your way and pay interest only for half of invested capital. Even if it's a no collateral loan, interest would run and most small scale business would take time before actual profits are realized against initial investment. Also look into other unexpected expenses that may arise during actual operation. Wish you the best my friend

go then and proceed as planned, if that is what your mind and heart is telling you and you really feel very strong about it, in business there are also times when you have to trust your gut feel

you have a good advice and it is very helpful. I now run to a cooperative to make a loan there. I wanted to raise half the investment but there's no way for me to do that aside from making a loan.

This is a good idea, my friend. If your plan is well, the banks will help. Or you can contact to some other investors.

You can maybe see if another similar business or franchise will tell you what its like and give you are tour of what it all involved maybe even hire you temporarily with them to see what its like before starting your own...

i desired to buy a franchise business but the thing is that it is very expensive and I can't afford it. so what I am doing right now is to start from the very start. make a loan to start a small business. and I hope it would be a success.

@leon3000502000 You can always try finding other franchises to partnership in the meantime.. I partner with Zazzle to sell my photos, cartoons, and sayings on their items as I can not afford it otherwise... also ask your local bank for help.. Many of their advisors will usually help you come up with a plan to achieve your goal or be able to refer you to someone who can help you. Mylot here has helped me achieve what I needed to support my websites yay, I love mylot for that. :D Best of luck to your biz.

Business is good if you know how to handle one. Franchising is the trend these days as it is much cheaper than to start your own (well- depends on what business you want) If the bank do not demand for any collateral that would be a great opportunity as well. I would venture into business then if any bank offer loans without collateral.

i hope so, I will try to apply for a loan with out any collateral. I will try to use my business plan to persuade the loan manager for approval of my loan.

Hey there leon, Well good luck on that my friend i know that you have studied carefully the matters before jumping on a loan, but better get loan from a bank than anywhere else and also make sure that the business you are gunning for is full proof and can produce income immediately so that you can pay off your loan early in time. thank you even though i don't believe on luck. my implementation date would be on next year. this year, I will be making a business plan for a sure approval of my loan. the good thing is that once my bank loan got approved, i will start paying the loan after six months. that franchise business i am planning to purchase will be operational in a month after i signed the contracts or agreements.
