Mid Anniversary appraisal :- Is it good innitiative?

Hi Friends, Companies are looking forward to give employees Mid Anniversary Appraisal to keep employees motivated towards work. Is it a good move?

Hi, It is a good practise to keep the employees motivated and 'engaged'. Mid term appraisals are much better than the 'no appraisal'/normal appraisals system. By this they not only get motivated but also enables you to improve yur work.

hi, Another way to motivate the employees? sure, you can announce an Incentive scheme for achievement of targets, also introduce performance linked incentive or you can offer some bonus, you can choose the employees who have done well and give them a leisure trip with family to some outside countries. Based on your budget and the expectations of the management you can think of better options. take care.

Yes, I think it is the best way to make sure employees are motivated to do hard work all throughout the year. Ok, not the best way, but effective. Depends on the overall culture of the employee pool. I personally would support it.

Hi Friend, You are right, even I found it not ther best way but effective. As most of the times employess it has been found it is more productive than other methods. But what can be other options to achieve the same.

I am not sure, but how much do you think breaking up to annual incentives into quarterly, or half-yearly set would work? Annual incentives and bonuses awarded based on quarterly or half-yearly performance. Their incentive amount would be noted in the system and accumulate every quarter, to be handed at the end of the year...
