Skype button on my blog

Hi there fellow MyLotters! I just added a Skype button to my blog so people can add me and ask any questions they might have but I don't know why it does not show my status... it always shows me as disconnected even though I'm online and my skype is running. Anyone has any idea why this could be happening? My OS is Linux Mint... don't know if this has something to do with it... Thanks ;)

I had this problem and learned I had to set it in my Skype account. There should be an option in your settings to "Show Status On Websites" or something similar to that.

hi camalich your problem is with the OS change your OS to windows for more specification chose windows 7 since its the latest.

No, it is not because of the OS. It was that the "Show I'm Online" option in my Skype profile was not activated :) I'm sorry but I'm not changing my Linux for that creepy win7 :P
