Isn't drought, meaning no rain.. We have another name for it here.. and it is a nightmare for our farmers.. But then i looked it up on the internet and the meaning of drought is complicated, now i am confused.

Sorry I keep forgetting this goes out around the world. We had two dry winters ,not enough rain our underground reserves of water were really low and our resoviours were getting low.which was fare enough, but it rained for about 4 weeks without a break and the man kept coming on the tv reminding us there was a hosepipe ban meaning we could not water the gardens with a hosepipe ,who on earth would go out and use a hosepipe in the pouring rain.It was supposed to be a joke only the English would understand. Sorry about that.I do realise drought is no joke our farmers were getting worried fortunately it rained hard for weeks.
