Chasing and catching dragonflies.

Good day everyone.
Just at home due to holiday today. I was sitting in the living room and watching tv when a boy outside catched my attention. Due to curiosity to what the boy doing I went to the terrace to know what it is. Oh he is chasing and catching dragonflies using a stick with toothpaste in the end under the hot sun.
I remember that we also do that during childhood. Chasing colorful dragonflies and catching it using a stick with toothpaste in the end that really glued the wings of dragonflies. Funny and great to reminisce this kind of memory of childhood that we really enjoy a lot.
Do you folks experienced it too? Chasing and catching those dragonflies?

You reminded me of my childhood days- where are all those years gone -hehe.
Yah, I've experienced it,but never use stick with toothpaste.
I am a good catcher aha :p
I miss those days and my kids haven't experienced those anymore :(

Oh good that you are a good catcher.
I was so amaze when I saw that boy catching dragonflies because kids today used to just play video games and more on the computer and dkn't experience things and games that we use to play and do before.

Yes, there are many things in the past that this new genre have missed.
They never know the complete meaning of childhood anymore.
They lives been hooked and detained like prisoners due to these modern technologies.
Too bad- young genre missed a lot of things that gives true meaning of happiness and laughters.

Hi ardoy! Good that you have a vacation today. I've just uploaded some photos taken during the Independence Day Celebration. Well, anyway it's okay if I was not able to enjoy the supposed one-day vacation today. I still have a half day.
I remember my childhood experience of catching dragon flies but I was just so unlucky because I was not able to catch during those time. They used to call me slowpoke because I just can not run fast. Nevertheless, the act of running with my friends is already enough for me to have fun all through the day.

Yeah great to be holiday today.
Sometimes it is really hard to catch them cause they really fly fast and so alert to notice someone is coming to catch them.
