I kind of understand how you feel. I have a touch screen phone as well. I had it for three years now and I am still not comfortable texting with it. Thus, I now have a reputation for being a lazy texter Luckily, the camera is good so I use it a lot for taking photos. Have a nice day!

I completely understand what you are going through...I went through the same thing when I first got my touch screen phone a few months ago! LOL I have to say I hated the darn thing! Okay, so I didn't really hate it, but I didn't like it, that's for sure! LOL It was only after I got the hang of it that I started liking it. Now I prefer it over other cell phones. Just keep on practicing. Hopefully in time you'll learn to like it too. Happy mylotting!

Oh, it is new for you then you feel uncomfortable with it in the beginning time only. I think you may like it later. I used to have a feeling like you when use a touchscreen phone. But you know, now i love it, i really don't like to use phone with a normal small keyboard anymore. My finger is not hurt when i type sms also. I love touchscreen types now...

hi! I just wondered when Im going to get comfortable using this! I still prefer the keyboard phone, it is faster to write with a kind of this, not with a touch screen. for example, I used to write without seeing what I was typing (in my old phone), now I have to spend more time to type any kind, of course, I havent write without looking yet. have a nice day!

Hi, I understand the way you feel about touchscreen phone. I felt the same way when I bought my touchscreen phone as well. But then, I tried to make use of it and now I am used to it! Well, yeah, the phone is amazing. I like the features but sometimes I prefer my other phone better.

I used to not be able to stand my old touch screen phone...Or so I thought! I went out and bought a phone that was both - Half touch screen but with a physical keyboard as well. Now that I have this one, I miss my full touch screen! I guess the grass is always greener on the other side. :P You're not alone though, lots and lots of people have complaints about touch screens, they're uber sensitive or not sensitive enough half the time!

I used to not like having a touch screen phone, but I got a really good deal when I needed an Android phone that could access Skype and the internet quickly, and I ended up finding my first touch screen phone highly convenient. However, it got stolen. So now I kinda miss it and the quick functions/features it offered.

Yeap I had this feeling when my N95 was stolen. I bought a Samsung touch screen phone. At first it seemed nice but after a while I understood in the movement I cannot text to anyone I become upset. With keypad phone even blind people can send message but with touch screen is more difficult. However, in navigating maps touch screens are better. I heard that there two different technology at touch screen. Older one is working with pressure and another one is working with sensing thermometer of your finger. The second one is more accrue and quick. Maybe one day that you change your current phone, you will miss it. People after missing sth start to thinking about its assets. :)

Hello alilin28! If your phone isn't functioning the way that it should be, and you did say that you just bought it a month ago, you might as well go back to the store and raise this issue to them. Perhaps the phone you bought from them is still covered by the warranty so, they could easily repair your phone for not working properly or even replace it with a new one of the same model. Now when it comes to preference, it is of course subject to personal choice. Some people are already accustomed to the new phones that are available, the ones that you mostly touch the screen with and there are others that still like the ones with keypads on them. There are advantages and disadvantages with touch screens, depending on the users after all. With keypads, a person gets to familiarize with where a particular key would be and most keypads would have that little bump in the middle, usually on the number five key so that upon touching it, one would be oriented to where there keys are placed without actually looking. For touch screen phones, there is nothing like that so, you really have to look, especially when you need to compose a message or so. Keypads on the other hand tend to wear down since you continue to press every time you compose a message, dial numbers and so on which wears out the rubber underneath the keys. With touch screens, you won't need to worry about such things at all. Before, I had a little bit of trouble with using touch screens, but I eventually go to familiarize myself with it. There are so many touch screens available that I could suggest that one would have to base the size of their hands with the kind of touch screen phone that they would be using. Having big hands or fingers for that matter, would also give you the same trouble as to the phones with keypads, if the phone that you are using is small.

Well, for me, contrary to your opinion, the touch-screen system, is a futuristic innovation of technology with regard to mobile devices. I also bought a touch phone last December and to be honest, the first time I was not found well, having always had phones with fixed keys. Now, I took my hand and I realize that with this system I can do it much faster (for example: write a text). The only negative note, if you allow me that was told that over time, the screen may lose the sensitivity to touch. I should be sorry for this!

We're on the same boat! I don't really find touch screen phones to be comfortable. It takes more time to type your messages and even if I had my phone for several months, I still find it hard to use it. It's quite troublesome sometimes too because I would sometimes accidentally press the numbers in my contacts and my load will be used up. There's a glitch in the system too. ^^; Well anyway, the reason I bought my phone is because of the document viewer, and the other units don't have that feature so I bought my phone even though I know I won't like the touch screen system.

I always like nokia than samsung. Because navigation of nokia is easier than that of samsung. Working phone should be easy or well navigable. And of course keeping clinging to any new tech makes it easy to use. This applies on laptops as well. So which laptop is hard working and easy to use? Mylotters
